CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN

1139 Words
After walking for a few minutes then they came to the place where they landed after teleportation. They started looking around. They searched for a while, then went back after seeing that Alinani and Amell were nowhere to be seen. They reached deep into the trees where they couldn’t spot them and slept. *********** “The blow to my head was so painful, man. Those bastards can be ferocious,” Alinani spoke, rubbing away his sleep. “Yeah,” Amell yawned and stood up. “The worst part is that we have these power restraining bracelets on,” Alinani also stood up. “I have been trying to get them off. But every time I get electro shocked,” Amell said, turning to face Alinani. There was a pregnant pause. “Will you two keep it down at least until everyone is awake?” A man oozed behind them. “Charles?” Alinani asked as he swung around. “Yeah, it’s me. Anyway, let us hope you two have a plan to get us out of this hell?” Charles asked. “No, my alpha. But we will think of something,” Alinani replied. “You better.” “Can’t you come up with a plan yourself?” Amell asked. “Dragon, don’t start with me,” Charles replied. “My name is Amell, you dog,” Amell shouted, and started going closer to Charles. “I will forget we come to get you and rip you apart myself.” “Will you two shut up? What the hell are you doing we are together in this. So instead of arguing, let us figure a way out of this place together,” Alinani spoke and stood between the two men. “Well, tell him to mind the way he talks to me,” Amell said. “Amell, stop,” Alinani said, and held up a finger to silence Charles. “Where are Mulenga and Siobhan,” Charles asked. “They went to check for you in the battlegrounds. But they should be waiting for us by now,” Alinani replied. ********** “I think we should check for them in the prison cells,” Mulenga suggested. “Yeah, let us go,” Siobhan replied, and they left. They walked for about twenty to thirty minutes, then they reached the prison cells. Of course, they were hiding in the trees. “How are we gonna get in?” Mulenga asked. “Kicking their butts is always an option,” Siobhan replied. Mulenga turned and looked at Siobhan, grinning. “What?” he asked. “Can’t you perform the spell you did last night?” Mulenga asked, still with a creepy smile on his face. “Do you see any frogs here?” “Yes, those two,” he pointed at the guards. “You are idiotic. Can’t you see that frog over there,” he pointed at the frog that was on the tree, examining the land for any intruder. “If those two frogs leave the spot, it will probably call to them, and if they don’t answer is likely to follow them. Besides, my wand power is decelerating. So controlling their minds will reduce the power even more.” “So what are we gonna do now?” Mulenga asked. “I don……wait,” stroking his beard, “I saw a pool on our way here. So maybe we can find some wondering souls there,” Siobhan said. “Then let us not worst time,” Mulenga said and started off. On their way, they dodged as many frogs as possible. Then finally they reached the pool. The tadpoles filled the pool and two adult frogs presumably guarding the young ones. “Now do your mind-controlling thing,” Mulenga said, stepping aside. “What part of my wand energy-depleting don’t you get?” Siobhan asked. “Oh, I forgot. So what are we gonna do now? So that the frogs come to us?” Mulenga spoke. “Think of something as well are you that damn?” Siobhan said. “I’m not damn let me show you.” Mulenga began pacing around as he stroke his chin. Then, after a few minutes, a thought hit him. “I can make noise by growing in my werewolf form,” Mulenga said. “That’s all?” “No, we can then hide in that cave. So that when they came we sneak behind them and you can do your thing without making noise.” “Brilliant idea. You are now being sharp-minded like me,” Siobhan said, patting Mulenga on his back. Without delaying, Mulenga tapped his werewolf powers. They stood outside the cave, then Mulenga growled and they went into the cave. After a couple of minutes, two frogs came. They were a bit shot than Enolam and its friend though, but none of them seemed to mind. The frogs looked around for the source of the sound but saw nothing. After a couple of slights, they swung to go back. Before they were out of sight, Siobhan took his wand, gave it a casual flick, and the spell hit the frogs. The frogs stood still, then Siobhan and Mulenga came out of the cave. Just as they reached a few feet from the frogs, the souls of the frogs came out and went directly into Siobhan and Mulenga. Before they knew it, they were in Costa Rican clown frog forms. “Shall we go?” Mulenga asked. “Wait, let us put them in the cave so that no one spots them or they will be trouble in paradise,” Siobhan spoke. They took the frogs and dragged them into the cave, and they took off. Rescue time. They arrived at the prison cells. They walked straight to the guards, displaying rather determined expressions. As they arrived at the guards Siobhan said, “We have been sent to check the prisoners.” “By who? And are you not supposed to be looking after the kids at the pool? If my boy sinks you are dead,” the fat frog said. “We have left someone in charge of your kids, don’t worry, and we have being sent by Robert,” Mulenga spoke. “Any proof of what you are blurting out?” the other frog asked. “Should I tell him you bastards refused us to enter?” Siobhan asked, face determined. His face inches from the other frog. “Alright you have five minutes,” the fat frog said, and they moved out of the way. “Excellent decision,” Siobhan patted the other frog on the head, and they entered.
