14. Raven
I didn't know for how long I had been out. All I knew was that I just wanted to be dead and be rid of all the pain, Midnight Pack, Maddox, Morgan, Michelle, Alpha Kane… all of them and when I opened my eyes, I thought I was.
I was lying on my back on a soft mattress and it was so warm that I couldn't help but snuggle a little bit and that's how I knew I was in heaven.
No one in that forsaken pack would ever think of making my life comfortable let alone let me sleep in peace.
When I opened my eyes, what I saw first was a white ceiling and it reminded me of the dream I had when I tried jumping in the river: that woman who liked as if the sun shone on her face. It was this beautiful.
But then, the smell hit me: disinfectant and medicine and that's when I heard the sounds: beep!
