SARAH'S POV.
I was up bright and early because I have a long day at work today, sending out exclusive emails has to be the toughest part of my job at the company. I have experienced the harsh nature of the rain and scorching rays from the sun, but email broadcasting is a different kind of stress.
It was my second day at the office after the board of directors had given me an almost impossible deadline. Had it not been for Matthias and his intervention, I doubt the big idea would come to me.
I got to work, quite early than I used to, quickly settled into work, and went down to business.
"I can do this," I said to myself while staring at my blank desktop screen.
I turned on the computer and a pop-up notification appeared on my screen.
"Oh my!" I placed my hand gently on my chest area after taking a glance at the caption.
I had to be sure I wasn't misreading things, so I reached for my glasses, took a soft cloth from the case, and wiped the lens carefully before putting them on.
Truly, my eyes weren't playing tricks on me. Tessa Tech just accepted my offer for an exclusive documentary.
"My career is saved." I cried.
I could feel hundreds of butterflies take turns to bubble my mood from the inside. I couldn't help but stump my feet in excitement. I grabbed the telephone on my desk and dialed his work code.
After a few seconds of beeping.
"Hi, Sarah." Matthias greeted me from the other end.
"We got the contract!" I couldn't contain my joy.
"Congratulations Sarah, you did it."
"No, it's all you-" I took a deep breath.
"-thank you, Matthias."
"C'mon Sarah, you're too kind," he said in all shyness.
Matthias has always been a helpful colleague of mine, even without being engaged, he always wants to aid me at the slightest opportunity he gets. I wonder why he does that.
"I love you, Sarah, your happiness is my priority," he said.
Stunned by his passive confession, I scoffed. I felt a huge lump in my throat that made it hard for me to swallow and give a reply.
"Sarah?" he called, jolting me back to reality.
"Yes, I really can't thank you enough," I said, halfway before dropping the call on him.
I did not ponder over Matthias' sudden love for me, but what I couldn't understand was if it was just as a friend or something more.
"It's probably nothing." I waved it off.
The excitement I had seemed to water down, but regardless I was elated. I went to the board to announce my effort, excluding Matthias, no need to bring him to the spotlight, he doesn't sound like he wanted credits.
Madame Sheryl, out of all directors present, was the happiest.
"Bravo!" she tapped her palm gently in an elegant manner, showing little excitement. The rest of the directors kept dead faces, they were disappointed with my performance. I used to be one of the top journalists in HHT, but now, I begged for chances to prove my worth.
"We hope you won't blow things up this time." one of them finally spoke.
I nodded in affirmation.
I knew it was time to get to work, time to plan, and also time to meet one of the most successful CEOs in the whole of the Midwest, inarguably the best in the continent.
"It's going to be a good year, I know it," I assured myself.

TESSA'S POV.
Linda couldn't stand her heat, she set fire to my heart and ran away leaving me to burn and hate myself for caring so much for her gender. I'd never been kind to stick around and love, once I got what I wanted their efforts became intangible.
"It's not you, I need to fix myself. "
"Oh Tessa I don't deserve you, you're too good for me. "
"I need time to be sure this is actually what I wanted. "
Over the years women have ridiculed my love and humility. I would enter a relationship with all zest and eagerness to make things work but my efforts were not reciprocated.
I knew I couldn't continue like this, I needed change to become whom every woman would want and give anything to be with, inheriting my father's company and dedicating my time and resources to building it to where it is today took years of rejection and tears these women put me through.
I found Linda, seated across the room in a meeting looking all beautiful in her aura. I couldn't help but pierce my stares through her soft-looking.
Yes, at first, to me, she was just another swing but something about her felt different -- the way she teased me and kept me on my toes made me want her the most. I thought she was the one, my Mrs. Martinez and owner of a greater percentage of my billions. I thought with Linda, I would quit my womanizing ways for good but I was wrong, how much I hated to admit I was wrong, whatever women wanted was certainly not a good and sweet guy.
They needed the one who would toss them around and condescendingly treat them. My mind was made up, no woman would have the opportunity to treat me the way Linda did. Whatever I must become to be cold-hearted, I am willing to give all and more for it.
"Mr. Tessa," Alexia called, she seemed to have been standing there for a while.
"Alexie-" just as I loved to call her.
"-please sit." I pointed to the vacant chair.
"Thank you," she said in her alluring tone, reminding me of a beautiful vixen famous in the club for her red whip. Many feared her and called her an Alpha female.
I would scoff there's nothing like an Alpha female. Her moans underneath my person proved my theory of -
'All women are sweet and gentle if you hit the right spot'.
I took my gaze to my Alexia, her sumptuous molds of breast bulging out and her curvy cleavages enticing to my eyes.
She sat on the chair and still looked a bit nervous, she must have found my eyes wondering. I couldn't help but notice her luster boob cleavage revealing itself through her unbuttoned blue long-sleeve shirt. Her black hair lay comfortably on her shoulder. I was sure she stroked it 25 times this morning and flipped her hair in front of her dressing mirror.
"What is it? " I asked her.
She carefully moved a strand of hair blocking her eyes behind her ear and placed her hand on her lap.
"The journalist from Half Hour for the documentary has arrived."
I could tell she was trying to seduce me, but she shouldn't try that much because her body already did the work.
"Bring them in," I said, letting my eyes explore her.
"Not them, just her," she gently said.
"Yes," she said and giggled. "I'm afraid they only sent her."
"Who is this her???"
"Sarah Rogers. " She smiled.
The name did ring a bell, but I couldn't place my finger on where I heard it from.
"Well bring her in," I said.
Alexia's obedient nature prompted her to stand up immediately after I gave the command.
The next moment after she left, she accompanied a female, all dressed in her glory. She had red luxurious-looking hair, her height a bit taller than the women I had met. Her elegance was next to none, she wore a radiating smile that was infectious. I found myself smiling from ear to ear. She stretched her hand out for a courteous handshake.
"Good day Mr. Tessa, I'm Sarah Rogers. It's an honor to meet you." she greeted me as soon as her soft palms met mine.
Still dumbfounded by her feet-sweeping beauty, I found my gazes lost in her hazel iris.
'Wow,' I thought to myself.
Composure was what I needed at that moment, but I lost it. Hastily, I released my hand from her spells.
"Nice to meet you, Sarah,"
"May I?" she inquired before sitting on the chair.
"Sure," I affirmed.
Without hesitation, she stated her mission.
"I work for Half Hour Times…" she continued.
Her voice began tearing down walls guarding my heart. Certainly, what I felt for her wasn't love, she was aesthetically pleasing to behold, all I wanted was her unclad on my bed and her melodious voice moaning to even rhythm our bodies made.
The only way I could get this done was to play my cards right, not to scare her off but earn her trust and find her weak spot.
"Cameras?" my eyebrows raised in curiosity.
Despite being a good-looking man, I was camera shy and couldn't stand the hawk lens from the camera.
"Yes Mr. Tessa, that's the only way we can record the documentary." I could sense the nervousness in her voice. She seems to have wanted this documentary more than I do.
I slowly rested on my chair and observed her body language, she wanted it.
"If this will be a success, it will be on my terms." I pulled a string, to test her elastic limit.
How much did she want this?
"Whatever you want Mr. Tessa." The desperation in her tone was loud and unavoidable.
"Cameras will be hidden from my eyes, you can have your team come bug my office."
"Cameras should be completely out of sight and we have a deal."
She nodded repeatedly, while carefully examining my office.
"It can be done." she smiled.
I'm sure her smile was an assurance of a sealed deal.
I smiled too, but for a selfish purpose, to fulfill my wants.
