6th Bite

When I woke up, in the next morning, Dorothy and Jeanna were by my side, staring at me.

-Looks like you had a steamy night miss Kristal- joyfully said Dorothy

I didn't have to strength to get embarrassed, so I just smiled and said:

-Oh it was so much more than that…Seth wouldn't let me rest even if for a second, though it is true I was the one who provoked him first

They both looked at me surprised.

-Aren't you a shameless Human?!

-Oh Jeanna this is what's called passion

Dorothy wanted to hear more details about my night with Seth. I told her a bit of what happened, but of course, I didn't reveal the more spicy details. Those shall remain just between him and me.

Then abruptly, a vampire guard came into the room and said:

-Miss Kristal, your grandparents are here, they are insisting to see you

How could I have forgotten about them?! I ended up not asking Seth if I could go explain the situation to them.

-I will be there right away

I quickly put a robe on and followed the guard to where my grandparents were. They looked completely worn out. I am such an i***t, forgetting something so important! As soon as they laid eyes on me, my grandmother ran to hug me.

-Oh Kristal honey you're alright…We were so worried they had done something to you

-It's alright grandma…I am sorry, I forgot to tell you…I'm going to stay here in the palace for a while

-What do you mean?

-I am…working for the Crown Prince…And in order to do so, I must live here

-Just what nonsense are you talking about now?- intervened my grandpa

-It's the truth- responded Seth, who had appeared out of nowhere- Kristal is now working under me and I insisted she lived here…The reason she didn't tell you was because I forbid her from leaving the palace

“How did Seth know I needed him?” I thought. Could he sense my worry, or maybe he had been watching over me? Well, none of that mattered. Seth was there, by my side, and that's all that was important.

-We understand your majesty, but is it ultimately necessary for her to stay here?- insisted grandpa

Before responding to him, Seth glanced at me, as if asking for my consent. I smiled and nodded at him.

-Indeed it is…Not to worry tough, if she so wishes, I will allow Kristal to eventually go visit you

-You guys don't have to worry about me…Prince Seth…He takes great care of me

I wasn't sure about my grandpa, but my grandmother had understood why I was staying at the palace, and so, she said:

-Kristal, you take care now, me and your grandpa will look after the house, whenever you need it we will be there, always ready to receive you with open arms

She gave me a goodbye hug and didn't say another word. My grandparents could now rest assured, I was living with the love of my life.

When I turned around, the maids and the guard were gone. It was only me and Seth there, staring at each other.

-Thank you, for coming to meet me

- But of course, anything for my naughty little girl

We locked our lips in a passionate kiss.

-Judging by the robe you are wearing, I assume you haven't had breakfast yet, yes?

-No, I haven't, as soon as I woke up my grandparents were already here

-In that case, I believe it's my turn to feed you

He picked me up and brought me to the dining hall, where once more, the table was filled with nice smelling dishes. Seth put me sitting on his lap and started to feed me. He seemed to be having fun, watching me get all flustered over that embarrassing, yet quite romantic moment.

After I ate, we went to take a bath. I was leaning on Seth, while he caressed my hair.

-You're so pretty

-Is it a hobby of yours making me blush?

-How did you guess?!

This moment was so peaceful. We had neither worries nor problems.

-Kristal…I think I be in love with you

I froze right then and there. I couldn't believe my ears…Seth was confessing to me…He really was. I was done holding my feelings back, I loved him too, so much so that it could almost hurt. I wasn't going to stay quiet anymore. I would just be honest with him. So, I turned around, looked him in the eye and said:

-I love you too, from the bottom of my heart

He warmly smiled and responded:

-Those words are music to my ears

We kissed, only this time, it was truly a lovers kiss.

-Seth, I would like to ask something of you

-Anything you wish, my love

-Is it possible for my grandparents to stop giving blood? It's just that they are already old and I know it puts a lot of strain on them

-My sweet Kristal, always thinking about others…Of course they can, I will inform the one responsible for managing the system…They won't have to come back here

-Really?! Thank you so much

I hugged him tightly. Seth Always made me smile, no matter what I requested of him, and this time was no different. If this isn't love, then I don't know what is.
