Chapter 13: Drunk Confessions

POV GABRIELLA***

    Dustin I pull into the driveway of my house and open the garage. I hope out of the car and open the garage and see Alexis is home because her car is here. Dustin closes the garage as he opens the door for me, "Thank you kind sir". I say as I walk in the kitchen and put down my keys as Dustin sets down the bag and takes out our food. I hear a door slam as footsteps run down the stairs "ELLA!" Alexis screams as she bolts towards me and hugs me, almost knocking me down. I grunt as she squeezes me hard "Your finally home" I say as she nods and pulls away. 

"Hi Dustin". Dustin waves as he shoves fries into his mouth. 

    "So how was Moondale?" I ask as Alexis stiffens. "What?" I ask as I sit down at the island. She hops on the counter and sighs. "My parents want me to go Boston" I smile as she frowns. "That's fine we can get a place there and get an apartmen-"

    "Alone" she cuts me off. "What? What do you mean alone?" I set down my drink as Dustin excuses himself and goes outside. "They want me to go to Boston alone so that I won't worry about you and I can focus on my school" I can feel the awkwardness in the air. "okay that's fine when you leave?" she sighs and grabs my hands. 

    "I leave in two days" I nod and get up. "Gabby you can't be angry" I smile. "Why would I get angry? I mean you lived with me for 4 years and I get it you need to be on your own. It's fine I understand go to Boston alone" she smiles as she hugs me. "Thank you for not being mad at me" I nod and smile. 

    "It's fine" she hugs me and hopes off the counter. "I have a special night with a special someone so I won't be home tonight but tomorrow it's just you and me got it?" She smiles and walks away. I let out a breathe I was holding in and shrug. I grab my food and walk out to dustin finishing off his burger "You're done already?" He looks at me with his mouth full of food and smiles. 

"Ewww gross close your mouth". I sit down at the table and open my box. I dip my chicken tender in ranch and begin eating. As the flavor explodes in my mouth I see dustin steal a chicken tender "THAT'S IT!" I scream as I run inside with my food and lock myself in the wine cellar. I see dusting through the see through glass as I eat my chicken tenders. After I finish eating I flip off dusting and pull a bottle of Jim Beam off the rack and take a big chug. I feel my body relax as all my worries begin to wash away.

    The thought of Alexis leaving me, the thought of Max coming over tonight, the thought of Luca cheating on me and blaming me, and dusting getting a girlfriend and leaving also. I realize that Max and his crew arrive when I see them looking at me like I am an animal in a cage. Thomas is laughing as he points to my drink then Max smacks him in the back of the head. 

    I stand up with my trash and the bottle and open the door. I walk to the trash and throw my food away as I set the bottle on the table. "Sooooo I see you started the party on your own". I hear Max say as he walks besides me. I roll my eyes as I open the cabinet and grab 20 red solo cups. 

    "Hey Ella I am going Woah" I look to the stairs and see Alexis wearing a red dress in heels. "who may these two attractive gentlemen be?" I laugh as she puts her purse down and leans over the counter. "Well looks we have our teams for beer pong". I smirk as Alexis looks at me and smirks.

    "I am going to cancel my plans and change. I will be back, DIBS ON GABRIELLA". Dustin groans as Alexis runs up the stairs. 

    "Damn I wanted to be on a winning team". Thomas acts shocked as he puts his hand over his chest.

 "Rude I hope you happen to know that I have never lost a beer pong" I hear someone clear their throat. 

    "Sorry me and Max have never lost a game of beer pong". I roll my eyes. "Fine Dustin and Ryland are a team, You and Max, and lastly Alexis and I"  I laugh as Alexis runs down the steps in a big T-shirt and baggy grey sweats. 

    "I'll grab Hennessy" She says as she walks to the wine cellar. 

Thomas eyes widen "Woah woah woah children beer pong not Hennessy pong you guys wanna be wasted not even past ten?" I roll my eyes. 

"Alexis grab the cheap s**t, we're not even with hot guys and he's right I'm not in the mood to get naked" I say as Max rolls his eyes and Dustin laughs. 

Alexis comes back with a case of bud light from the fridge in the garage. She also sets down Tito's Vodka. 

    "Here are the rules: we all take a shot of Tito's right now then the loser takes a shot every round. Got it ?” I nod  as she grabs shot glasses.

 I set up the cups as the boys pour the beers in. Dustin takes off his shirt as I whistle. "Take it off daddy!" I scream as Max shoots me a glare while everyone else laughs. 

    I grab my shot glass and cheers Alexis and shoot it back. "ok I am ready lets go". Alexis and I chest bump. As I feel the alcohol begins to affect my smart decisions.    

The first round was Alexis and I against Ryland and Dustin. Alexis and I won and we only had to drink 2 cups each. After that round it was Dustin and Ryland against Max and Thomas. Max and Thomas won. 

    So it was us against the guys. After we set up the cups again, I filled up 4 shots for us. "May the championship of beer pong begin!" I scream as I shoot the glass back and welcome the burn to my throat. "Ladies first". Thomas gestured to the ball in the middle and Alexis smiled. 

    "what a sexy gentleman". she loudly whispered in my ear. "That black haired daddy is going to be in my bed tonight fyi". I laughed loudly as Dustin gagged. 

    I shook off my nerves and lifted the ball and had Alexis kiss it, while making eye contact with Thomas. 

    I rolled my eyes, as I threw the ball and it landed right in the back left corner. Max lifted the cup and brought it to his lips while keeping eye contact. I licked my lips as I felt the s****l tension in the air, I shook my head and ignored the feeling. 

    Max may be model f*****g attractive but it doesn't change what he did. Thomas threw the ball and made it in. I went to grab in but Alexis beat me to it and threw it back. "f**k it, come on Tommy boy lets take this upstairs". She ran towards Thomas and jumped into his arms as her lips locked with hers. He pulled away as he began walking up the stairs and she continued to kiss his neck. 

    "MAKE SURE IT'S YOUR ROOM ALEXIS!" I scream. I sigh as I shrug and grab the bottle of Tito's. 

    "Anyway the rest of you wanna go swimming?" I look at the boys and Dustin is on the phone with someone and Ryland is eating chips on the couch mumbling to Dustin.

 "p*****s" I mumble as I walk to the backyard with the bottle of alcohol.

 I place it down on the table and take my clothes off. After I am left in my bathing suit I turn on the jacuzzi. 

After turning on the Jacuzzi I grab the bottle and get in.I take a big gulp of the bottle as I welcome the burning sensation back to my throat. I

 hear the sliding door open, "Finally Dustin, maybe we can finish what we were doing early?" I smirk as I turn around and see Max shirtless in his bathing suit. 

I sigh as Dustin walks out with Ryland who has a football. Dustin dives in and swims to the middle of the pool, while Ryland hops in at the swallow end. 

    Ryland throws the ball with Dustin while Max hops in the Jacuzzi with me. "Whyyyy me?" I say as I look up and try to take a drink of the bottle again but it is snatched away from me. 

"HEY!". Max smirks as he takes a drink from the bottle. "What's up bestie?" he says as he puts the bottle down. 

"That's all you have to say to me after years of not talking to me after you were an ass and hit me?" I say as his face softens. 

    "No matter how much I apologize it isn't going to change the fact that I hit and I am sorry for that, but all I can do is what's best for you". He shakes his head and looks at me.

 "That's why I need to tell my mom and your parents about how much liquor you have here and how irresponsible you're being". My eyes widen as I clench my fist. 

    "What do you mean Max who do you think bought all the alcohol? Ava and I have an agreement if I keep my grades up and keep my job I don't have to go live with her". I rest my back against the wall as I hear a phone go off. 

    I look at Max and see him answer his phone. "Hey Dom what's up?" I roll my eyes and get out of the Jacuzzi. I jump into the pool and swim to dustin. "Hey Gabby what's up?" he slurs as I wrap my legs around his waist and wrap my arms around his neck. He grabs my lower thighs as I smash my lips against his. The alcohol didn't help my feelings towards Dustin; they made me more ballsy and physical. 

He pulls away and looks at me, "What was that for?" he smiles as I say the words that for sure just ruined our friendship. 

    "That was because I love you" as I smile. But my smile fades when I realize what I said and also because of the look of confusion on Dustin's face.
