The SleepersIn Bar-geda, Glidd and Firilla were ‘Before the Governors’. This meant they were put into a small room and told to speak into a little gadget on a stand. They were then left and the door tightly locked.
Somewhere in another part of the building the twelve Governors, who had been given office when they were named by the Oracle, sat at a round table with the symbol of their power in the centre. Ironically it was a sword embedded in a stone, a symbol brought from Earth, its meaning long since lost.
