All of them moved to a safer place after taking everything that they have inside the shelter. “Looks like we have to look for some things that has the same durability as the ones we used on the last one.” Xerxes said and the elves wondered if they can still find some. “I know where we’ve met but I don’t think there are still things like that around.” Yusaf says and Xerxes agrees. “There are not much left when I found those things but I think there are some things that can replace them, though they are going to be heavy, they are going to be sturdy as well.” Xerxes says and taking everyone’s attention. “We are listening.”               Xerxes told the group of the material that they are going to use as replacement for the roof but before that,  Xerxes asks the elves if there are monsters around the area where they plan to erect the new shelter, the elves says that there are no much monster in the area after the appearance of the long necked monsters a few days ago. “There are not much monsters in this part of the land and even more now that there are long necked monsters here.” Carleon says with confidence. “Then I guess we should do this work and end it today. There should be no other monsters right now but what if another species decided to show up, we can be in a really big mess.” Rupert added.               ‘We just need to make sure Yusaf, there is a possibility like that.” Yusaf nods as he understands that they are cautious of the sudden changes. “Well, that is enough for me. We should not be letting our guard down in this place after all.” Yusaf says as he then ask Xerxes about the material. “The perfect material for the roof would be metal sheets. There are a lot of those anywhere since this is a place where most of those are being used, we can easily build our roof.” Xerxes says and they vote for the ones that would be in charge of digging in the ground and a single person for a lookout.               “Xerxes and I will be the ones responsible for collecting the materials for the roof since he is the one able to distinguish it, the rest should be look out and the ones responsible for digging in the ground, make sure it is larger than last time, that way we can even make some rooms for sleeping and to store the goods.” Yusaf commanded and the elves immediately acknowledge his words. Rupert and Ramirez are also excite for the new shelter that they will be building along wit the elves. “Then, let’s go. We should finish it as early as possible.” Yusaf says to Xerxes who immediately gave him a set of gloves. “You are going to need it. The things that we are going to be collecting are quite rusty and old you see.”               The group then did not waste any time idling and get to work. Ramirez easily digs through the ground effortlessly and the elves stares at his enthusiasm and determination, not wanting a human to best them at strength, the two male elves take off their clothes, getting ready to get dirty and matched Ramirez’s pace. “These guys are really pumped.” Rupert told himself as he cannot compare to the enthusiasm of the three. “Let them be, we’ll just have to look out for monsters. They are more than enough for the job.” Ysa says to Rupert who then withdraw from the work after hearing her words. “They are quite energetic huh?” Rupert says and the elf wants to say something when all of the sudden Rupert signals her not to say a word. “Ramirez!” he calls out to Ramirez in a soft whisper and the work driven ogre manage to hear him and stop. Both the elves have also heard him as Rupert hands them a cloth. “I hear something coming. Hide inside the hole that you guys dug while we hide in some places we can find.” He says as the three cover themselves with the cloth.               Rupert and Ysa finds a perfect hiding place where they can also observe what is happening outside.               TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG! TUG!               The ground rumbles as the footsteps of the giant monsters reach their ears. The group sees a herd of large walking monsters with tusks and long mouths, that resembles elephants. “Just think about it if we get stepped on by those behemoths, it’s a dead end for us. For sure.” Rupert says to himself and Ysa deliberately agrees to him without any hesitation. Rupert sees that the behemoths are trudging in the path away from the hole that the three have dug and figures out that the behemoths are only walking in the same path that the leader have taken.               ‘Does that mean that they have a leader that they follow?’ He thinks to himself while observing at the behemoths and makes a quick sketch about them. Ysa stares at his dedication, without even looking at the book that he is sketching on. ‘Wow! That is some talent.’ Ysa tells herself after seeing Rupert’s talent under the spotlight.               The two also felt the presence of the behemoths and decided to hide. “Elephants?” Xerxes mutters to himself when he saw the creatures for the first time. “What? You know what they are?” Yusaf asks Xerxes who immediately nods his head. “Is that what the creature is called?” Yusaf nods his head back. “They are what our ancestors have called them. The humans in this place also calls them by that name. they are ancient creatures that loves bathing in waters and they do not really attack other creatures except if they are feeling threatened but in our case, it’s better to be sure and hide. Rather than regret it later when half of our body is missing or stomped on.” Yusaf says and Xerxes agrees wholeheartedly.               “It would be better than dying and regretting it later on.” Sensing that the giants have left, Xerxes and Yusaf returns to work and finally be able to bring the things that they found. The two arrived and sees that the others have already completed their work and have the other materials they needed ready. “Took you both long enough, did you see those things? They passed by this place really close. They are ginormous.” Rupert says as he flaunts that he manage to make a quick sketch of the creature. “The people back home will certainly love this.” Rupert says as he admires his own work.               “They will certainly like it.” Xerxes reassures. The others have already erected some pillars for the foundation and the two all have to do is place the rusty metal sheets  on top of the pillars. “They have already made the skeleton of the shelter. It would be really embarrassing if they also help us with placing these things.” Yusaf says as Xerxes takes on the challenge.               A few moments later and the roof is finished, Xerxes and Yusaf used the ground that they dug out and cover the metal sheets just like what they did on the previous on. “Now we have another shelter. This thing also have rooms. That way, we can sleep really comfortably.” Ramirez and the other two elves boast of the things that they decided to make while the two are away to look for the materials. “Yeah- I did not expect Ramirez to somehow use his head for once.” Rupert said mockingly but Ramirez brush it off by exploring the new shelter. Xerxes placed on some candles that would lighten up the place.               “This will be the things that will lighten up this place. Here are the things that would create fire. I will leave this here, so that you guys can also use this thing when you need it.” Xerxes then shows them how to use the flint and stone. The elves stare in awe of the innovation that the humans have made. The next day, all of them move early after reviewing the things that Xerxes needed this time for the commissions. “You can visit the other side if you want. I am currently working on the thing that I promised you Yusaf, it’s just hard to look for some good craftsmen. All the ones that I have met so far declines after seeing the blueprint.” Xerxes said but Yusaf, declines. “Maybe next time Xerxes, I am still not ready to meet other humans, especially when they are scumbags like the ones we met near the portal.”               Xerxes understands what Yusaf meant and respects his decision. “The commissions this time is really easy. We can finish them all up within just 2 hours. That’s 2 days in the other side right?.” Xerxes confirms this.                Two hours later and the three are now back after spending a day in the wilderness. Mr. Willy is really glad to see them back and leads them back home happily.
