The elven chief, Niberia and the native human chief of the old Earth, Flora repeated their talk again so that everyone who is absent can hear their decisions. “Seeing that both humans and elves would struggle in this new system that the world has designed. We are ready to put aside our pride and help each other in this new order of this world.” The elven chief says and Flora agrees by nodding her head. “In my long life it is the first time for me to experience something like that. We have never experience the changing of seasons. All we had was sunny and rainy weather. If what you said, that something called winter will take hold of this world, then that is even more a reason for us to unite under one goal. And that is to survive this cruel world.” Chief Niberia said to Xerxes and the others who are hearing it for the first time, something that Xerxes could have suggested to make sure both tribes survive the new order. “That is a great idea. Merging two races together so that both can guard the settlement altogether. But where do you plan to settle down? Surely this settlement will nit be enough to accommodate all.” Chief Niberia and Flora nod their heads and seems like they have already decided for that matter. “We have decided to start building it underground. We heard from Yusaf and the others that the shelters that you and your men made are covered by dirt to conceal it from everything around it, I ask my fellow elves and said that it almost look like it blends in the surroundings perfectly. If we make a settlement like you did with the shelters then we should be able to pull it off. We have more man power and laborers, they can easily finish the task so easily don’t you think?” Xerxes smiles after hearing the plan of the two chiefs and acknowledge their decisions. “It would be better if you build that right behind this place and use this settlement as an extension and only use that new structure for evacuation or something. This building looks like it will last for more than a few years. I hope the winter doesn’t last that long.” The two chiefs have already decided the place and their decision come to a conclusion that both parties are fine with. “We are going to build that new structure beside any mountain. That way it can easily be mistaken as a mound or something. It will also ward off other monsters.” Flora responded to Xerxes who is quite surprised that they were able to consider their movements in such a short amount of time. “Well, I can’t be more happy.” Xerxes then remembers the weapons that they should have distributed earlier so he excuse himself and ask Flugar about the weapons. “Oh those? They are untouched. We placed those on the table in the next room. We did not want to touch any of it before you give it to use. Except Yusaf and the others, they have already took some weapons and use them to fight off whatever they baited the leaves with.” Yusaf felt guilty that he touched the weapons that Xerxes is ought to hand them and apologize. “Nah, its good. If it weren’t for your help, we could have died there. You just did what you thought was right.” Xerxes said as he hands Yusaf a box that is among the weapons on the table. “I was curious of what is inside the box, what is it?” Flugar ask with a curious tone. Xerxes just smiled and told Yusaf to open it. “Open it and see for yourself.”  Yusaf who is clueless at first smiles brightly when he thought it was the weapon that Xerxes promised. He opened the box hastily and there, the gun sits on a leather red cloth with a few magazines loaded with bullets. Yusaf is speechless of the gift that Xerxes brought him and could not help but embrace his friend. “Are you serious?! This- this is amazing! I have never seen nor imagined that I will get to have my hands on this!” Yusaf cries while laughing as he held the gun on his hands “Look at that beauty. That’s beautiful.” Flugar mutters after seeing the metal weapon from the legends. “My craftsman on the other side is busy making other things that he can only make a single gun. I wanted the others to have something like that as well but due to his obsession on his new goal hinder him from creating another one. Since I promised you first, you get to have the newly made gun.” Xerxes explains while feeling guilty that Yusaf is the first elf to own a weapon that only appeared in the legends. He thought that everyone will be jealous of him and might spark a dispute among the elven community but to his surprise, instead of asking him for one  for themselves, they rejoice. The genuine feeling of happiness occupied each and every one of the faces. Something Xerxes did not expect to see. ‘I think I underestimated the elves really much. They are really different from humans after all.’ He says to himself and join in on the celebration that the elves had. A few days later after a thorough plan of the structure that they are going to build, the construction of the shelter has started. Meanwhile, the hunters that left the officers of the marquis were put in trial for the crime that they have committed. The marquis is utterly disappointed and outraged of what their done that cost almost the lives of his men due to their selfishness to save themselves. BAM! BAM!BAM! THUD! “You punks lucky that the marquis ordered all of you to be left alive for the trial or else you would have been lying on the floor lifeless. What kind of idiots would do to officers of the marquis that has the authority from the king? That’s just suicide if you ask me. Trust me, this is just the beginning. The others that died first were lucky that they don’t get to suffer the torture that you guys are going to suffer.” A man left the cell after beating them all up to pulp. To the point that they are breathing blood that covers almost their entire faces. “You okay? I heard that you would had it rough if Xerxes did not come to help you.” Benedict ask the officer while standing a few meters away from the shop. “Yeah, we could have died there with no flesh left behind. Those orcs, I head they devour their prey, even bones.” Benedict scoffs right after hearing his words. “Yeah. No bones will be left of you if they eat you. They are one of the monsters that you don’t want to encounter if you happen to be injured. They are sadistic bastards that will devour almost everything.” Benedict added. He then turns to the officer and said. “Did you come here as per his request?” the officer nod his head and Benedict smiles knowing that they are on the same boat. He hands the officer a sweet that he bought from a shop earlier. “I volunteered to guard them, the marquis said that it will take a few more weeks before the guards that he requested arrives. So I will guard these guys on their stead.” Benedict understands it without him explaining and says that he is also asked to do the same thing. “He gave me this extraordinary weapon for a request like this. He did not even ask for me to look after himself but his employees’ safety. I feel like I lack in giving something back.” He said and the officer laughs. “I thought I was the only one but I was wrong. We owe them our lives. This much is not even considerably much.  But this is just what he wants me to do.” The two laugh as Britt closes the shop in the distance.
