CHAPTER FOURTEEN The Wild Hare bustled with activity which Arnaud thought odd with it not yet evening still. Of course, the tavern being at the cross of the two great roads–the North/South road from Darloque to Sassan and the East/West road from Ocosse to La Mer d’Ouest–meant that it always bustled with activity. Yet, there were times when business was less brisk and one–especially a young boy who perhaps should not be working in a tavern at all–could find a little rest with a peaceful group of patrons.
