Portiscule’s ears laid back. He lowered the mug slightly as he gripped his spear tighter. “Wha? Who the bloody ‘ell says this!”
The entire room fell silent as the speaker entered. Another large rabbit casually strolled in the room. He was the same size and build as Portiscule and marked in the same manner. However, wherever the gatekeeper was black, this god was a grayish slate. In the dim light of the tavern, he appeared blue.
Portiscule threw both his forepaws open, dousing a man behind him with the mug of stout. “Brother!” He ran and embraced the other god.
