Chapter 11

  Tolani hisses, while she walks into the girl's room with Kehinde following her like a lost puppy. It was obvious they were coming from Iya Ibeji's room, and she had giving them an ear full.

    Everyone turns to their direction, Omolola had a small smile playing on her lips, Istinjabat was looking rather too serious while Biliki looked like she was in her own world laying on her bed meanwhile Fatiah who was the first person to notice when then walked in let's out a loud laughter.

"Ashawo fifty kobo, when they get what they are looking for," Fatiah says with a mock smile. Tolani pretends not to here her while Kehinde hurries to the bed.

"Prostitutes!" Fatiah let's out again.

Tolani ignores her but this time around Kehinde doesn't. Kehinde really had a temper, behind the quiet girl there was a terrible beast, Kehinde had anger issues but she had succeeded in hiding it but Fatiah had gotten on her nerves.

Fatiah stares at her surprised after she had received whatever she threw on her face. It was a comb, she lets her eyes grow wide. Biliki suddenly jumps up, Tolani couldn't hide her surprise she was while Istinjabat and Omolola kept mute.

"Did you just throw that to my face?" Fatiah asks why getting up.

"And I would scatter that idiotic face of yours If you utter another worked," Kehinde says looking serious.

"Woah, wonders shall never end, so you want to challenge me?" She lets at a chuckle. "Do I look like your mate? Is it because you have seen Tolani challenge me now you have suddenly grown wings?" Fatiah asks while she comes face to face with Kehinde who was obviously not smiling.

"Fatiah or whatever you call yourself, I have been seriously avoiding you since I got into this house, but you have really overdone it this time, just so you know it's not by age oh. You don't know Kehinde oh," Kehinde pauses after realizing what she just said. "I will surely beat you blue and black!" She says trying very hard to maintain her composure.

"You must be mad," Fatiah says hitting Kehinde on the face. The shock on everyone's face was worth watching making Fatiah smirk. Kehinde whines in pain but becomes alert when Tolani pushes Fatiah on the bed and drags her hair immediately not after flinging her Hijab. Fatiah let's out a scream but Tolani uses her knee to hook her making Fatiah scream again.

Tolani smiles while she stuffed Fatiah's Hi jab into her mouth.

"Jaz, come and return the slap," Tolani screams out to Kehinde who doesn't waste time while Tolani holds Fatiah hands.

Kehinde gives Fatiah two hot slaps, Istinjabat runs to separate them but Bikini drags her back.

"Allow them to beat her up," Biliki says with an evil smirk.

"Fatiah 0 Tojaz 10!" Omolola shouts mockingly joining Tolani and Jasmine's names together according to her a ship name. She smiles while she acts like a commentator.

"When we are done designing your jaw, we will see how you would talk again, Toad Face," Tolani says punching the hell out of Fatiah who looked to weak to retaliate.

"i***t!" Kehinde curses while pinching Fatiah all over her face. They both continue beating her up, while Istinjabat who tries to separate but couldn't because Biliki had been dragging and frustrating all her efforts suddenly gives up. But Omolola doesn't stop acting like a commentator.

"What's going on here?" A deep voice asks from the doorway. When he noticed his voice couldn't stop them, he rushes over to them and starts separating, he drags Kehinde who was already choking Fatah and pushes Tolani.

"Do you want to kill her?" Ahmed asks Kehinde who silently wondered who he was, cause she hasn't seen him before.

"Bro Ahmed she started it!" Tolani says.

Brother Ahmed was a Laahan who also lived in the yard, He was so busy that he was hardly noticed. Kehinde doesn't get her eyes off him still wondering who it was cause it was the first time of seeing him since she arrived.

"Jabat, Biliki, what nonsense is this?" You both are here watching this" Ahmed says with a frown.

"Biliki," Istinjabat attempts to say something but keeps shut.

"Am highly disappointed In you girls, even you Fatiah, you are bigger than this na," Ahmed says.

"Bro Ahmed, they both attacked me," Fatiah who was looking tarted blurts out meanwhile Kehinde eyes her.

Ahmed looks from Tolani back to Kehinde and nods his head.

"You all should better behave, you are bigger than this. I don't want to hear any noise from this room again." He says before walking out.

"Mofo!" Fatiah says immediately he walks out/

"Someone needs more beating oh," Tolani says mockingly.

"Common Strength you don't have, you think it's by claiming what you are not, please don't come close to me you reek," Kehinde frowns meanwhile everyone blurts into laughter.

"It's only mouth she has," Tolani says meanwhile Fatiah glares at her.

"Talk na, talk na, If we won't beat you blue and black," Kehinde says with a frown.

"Come one on one, If I won't beat you up," Fatiah says.

"This girl always has something to say," Tolani says mockingly.

"Ode." Kehinde found herself saying meanwhile, Biliki who was already rolling on the floor continues laughing.

Kehinde and Tolani are standing like they were both been judged by a prestigious judge. Alhaja as usual wasn't smiling at all. Iya Fatiah who has been shouting for some minutes glares at both girls.

"Tolani, why did the both of you attack Fatiah? Alhaja asks in Yoruba.

"I won't take this matter likely, ganging up against your elder sister and beating her up," Iya Istinjabat says in Yoruba.

"Nobody ganged up against anyone, she deserved it and the next time she calls me a p********e, I would disfigure that face of hers," Kehinde says with an expressionless face meanwhile turns to her direction surprised at her sudden outburst. Iya Ibeji couldn't hide her shocked she was, even when she tried to mask it up, cause the fact Kehinde behaved like she was a quiet person made it hard for her to believe she acted rebelliously.

"Gbenu soen!" Iya Fatiah fires.

"Iya Fatiah," Alhaja calls out in a calm voice, "Fatiah did you call her a p********e?" Alhaja asks in Yoruba.

"Rara Ma," Fatiah who had a frown on her face replies innocently.

"Ah ah, you people will not kill my daughter, All of you have ganged up against my daughter, Cause you are jealous of her but it won't work, " Iya Fatiah says.

"Tolani, Shey je je oh"Iya Istinjabat says to Tolani before turning to Kehinde who gives her a deadly glare.

"I knew it, this girl would cause a lot of problems in this family," Iya Istinjabat frowns meanwhile Kehinde attempts to say something but holds back and throws a glance at Iya Ibeji who was quietly sitting in a corner. It was obvious by the look of her face that she was tired of the situation.

  Kehinde who didn't want anyone to catch the mere sight of her, knocks on the door and also looks around trying her best to check if the coast was clear. On getting no response she attempts to knock again, but the door suddenly opens.

Ayomide stares at her, it was obvious he was surprised to see her. She is holding his t-shirt which he noticed was neatly folded, he walks into his room without saying anything to her leaving his door wide open. Kehinde quietly rushes into the room without failing to lock the door from the inside meanwhile Ayomide who was too weak to talk stares at her wondering why she was acting like she was doing something wrong and was scared to get caught. Kehinde who had finished with the door quickly turns to Ayomide who just lays recklessly on his bed obviously looking pale.

"What's wrong with you?" She finally asks breaking the silence.

"Nothing, what are you doing here? You shouldn't be here," Ayomide says not minding the fact he was sounding rude.

"I came to return your t-shirt and to thank you," Kehinde responds ignoring the fact he was sounding rude.

"You can drop it and leave, "Ayomide says looking at the door.

"Hey, why are you speaking to me in such a manner? You don't know me so why do you hate me so much?" Kehinde asks looking obviously hurt.

"Stop making things up, please just excuse me, I need to rest," Ayomide says.

"Whatever!" Kehinde says and tries his shirt on him. "I came to return that" she says and walks towards the door, she didn't like the tone he used on her.

She quickly opens the door, walks out and slams it. Her jaw drops when she sights someone.

"Not again!" She mutters.
