Chapter 17

"Jaz!" Tolani calls out while pating Kehinde, who seemed to be fast asleep, on getting no response she increased the pace, this time Kehinde, lets out a groan. It was obvious she doesn't joke with her sleep.

"It's 11 AM and you are still sleeping," Tolani says watching Kehinde who just adjust on the bed.

"Why didn't you wake me up since na?" Kehinde asks with a sleepy voice while looking at her cousin.

"This is the fourth attempt I made towards you," Tolani says with a slight frown.

"Sorry tho," Kehinde responds now taking a good look at Tolani face, What's wrong with you?

"Is it not mummy," Tolani stutters.

"She said, I should go over to shop today," Tolani frown.

"Why?" Kehinde asks because she knew Iya Ibeji had a salesgirl.

"Bisi left, she said I should go over today, she will get someone before the week runs out," Tolani says with a frown which makes Kehinde smile.

"What?" She asks

"You need to see your face, don't be a lazy girl," Kehinde teases.

"Mummy shouldn't even try to use my head oh, I can remember the last time this happened. I ended up as a salesgirl In her shop for almost two months," Tolani frowns.

"Potential salesgirl," Kehinde says, making Tolani hit her playfully.

"So will you come with me?" Tolani asks sweetly.

"Will come later in the day, am just weak," Kehinde says stretching making Tolani smile mischievously.

"What?" Kehinde asks

"Nothing," Tolani responds still smiling.

"Naughty girl," Kehinde smiles out.

"You have not told me the name of the guy, who has been making my cousin stay out late," Tolani says taking Kehinde by surprise.

"It's just yesterday, ahan,"

"Just start talking," Tolani orders while Kehinde starts laughing. "See, all these guys around don't have future oh," This time around Kehinde laughs harder, she couldn't believe her cousin could say such.

"Madams we want to hear word, abi make we run for Una? (Should we run because of you?), "Fatima who has been frowning ever since they started there discussion asks.

"I don't know oh," Aisha says making Kehinde and Tolani turn to her direction, they give her a look, face themselves and burst into laughter.

Meanwhile Aisha who was wondering why they did that just hisses and goes back to what she was doing.

"Let me start going before mummy gets angry at me, don't forget to come oh, I don't want to die of boredom," Tolani says before leaving.

"Yeah, there is nothing I'm doing at home," Kehinde says more to herself while her thought wonders back to the previous night, she couldn't help but think of Ayomide and the thought of what would have happened if she didn't stop halfway pierced her heart.

He touches reminded her of the day she got r***d, that devil made her hate guys and anything inside there pants so bad. She knew she had feelings for Ayomide and silently wonders how he broke her walls in such a short period.

He was just too simple to her. She couldn't deny the fact she enjoyed every bit of what happened the previous night, but immediately he tried getting into her pant flashbacks of the past came back. She didn't even know when she pushed him and ran off her.

"God why did you let me fall for him, I know this love is f*******n, is this love or what? The only thing I know is its f*******n" Kehinde mutters allowing tears to betray her.

Ayomide who lays with his back with both hand clearly supporting his head couldn't help but hiss, he really hated himself so much, he couldn't think of what has gotten into him in the past few days, she was always in his head, his thought, he couldn't even think straight.

He knew he had committed a sin and he had asked Allah for forgiveness, he couldn't control himself whenever she was around him. He did things he could never have thought of doing, the thought of his family came gushing into his mind, he really missed home, his mum, siblings. He is an Alpha and whatever he was doing wasn't suppose to be done. This thought kept bothering him, he wondered why Kehinde acted the way she did and also Thanked God she did cause he knew the story would have changed this morning cause he was damn horny.

He needed to apologize for touching her the way he did, a lot of things flooded in mind.

There kiss is intense, he swallows her lips like it were his life and he wasn't planning on letting go. They kiss like a crazy couple not minding that someone could walk in any moment. She holds him tightly still sitting in his lap, they both disengage on hearing a noise.

"Damn," Kelvin mutters after sighting the last person on his mind.

"Jaz," Tolani calls out while holding her chest meanwhile Kehinde couldn't help but stare at the both of them, she recognized the guy as the birthday boy, just that he was looking cuter than the other day.

"You both are so lucky I'm the one," Kehinde says in a carefree manner before making her way into the superstore. She could tell Kelvin and Tolani threw each other a glance.

She makes herself comfortable while her cousin and boyfriend continued talking, they speak to each other for a few minutes before turning to her.

"See you later Jasmine and sorry for what you saw," Kelvin says referring to Kehinde with a naughty smile earning a smile from almost embarrassed Tolani.

"You both are so lucky that mummy wasn't the one who got here in my place," Kehinde says mischievously.

"I don't mind," Kelvin says this time around Tolani hits him playfully.

"Mogbe, you don't mind, shey you want to kill me?" Tolani asks.

"Ahan she needs to know her pretty daughter's boyfriend now," Kelvin says playfully. Meanwhile, Kehinde smiles watching how cute they looked while arguing. They argued for a while before Kelvin finally bade them goodbye. After he left Tolani made a few calculations before turning to Kehinde who was busy with her phone, she clears her throat drawing Kehindes' Attention.

"Hey!" She says. Meanwhile, Kehinde couldn't help but notice how strange her cousin had been behaving since Kelvin left. Was she shy? She thought while smiling.

"You both were really making out, you are lucky mummy wasn't the person who showed up, " Kehinde brings up the topic on purpose.

"It was just a moment of weakness na," Tolani says.

"Moment of weakness ke," Kehinde says. "Like you were not enjoying it. Look at how you were holding him like someone was dragging him away from you" Kehinde smiles.

"Haew, Jasmine hope you weren't there for some time?" Tolani asks amazed also hitting Kehinde on her laps, Kehinde doesn't fail to notice that she referred her with her full name.

"Ahah, were you not enjoying the thing? How will you notice my presence na?" Kehinde teases. Meanwhile, Tolani smiles but turns moody in a jiffy.

"What's wrong?" Kehinde who noticed asks Tolani who hesitates for a while before talking.

"We did it," Tolani blurts out looking scared.

"Did what?" Kehinde who didn't understand asks.

"Had s*x an," Tolani blurts out.

"Ewo, in the shop?" Kehinde couldn't help but asks.

"Ode, how is that possible?" Tolani asks with a smile.

"Everything is possible oh, have you forgotten the position I met the both of you?" Kehinde says. Meanwhile, Tolani hits her playfully on her laps, this time around she returned it, cause it was so painful.

"Not fair oh," Tolani says feeling pains. "We did it on the night of his birthday, I slept over in his room and I instigated it too," Tolani says meanwhile she noticed how amused Kehinde was.

"Tell me something," Kehinde says smiling sheepishly.

"Stop looking at me like that na, am no more a Tolani," Tolani says making Kehinde laugh aloud.

"Ewo! did I ask you to do it with him? See me see case oh?" Kehinde says smiling.

"You aren't bothered about it? My mum always tells me to keep my virginity till marriage, but I couldn't control myself," Tolani says in a low tone.

"Your case is different you gave it willingly, what about those girls whose virginity were taking by force?" Kehinde asks remembering her past. She attempts to say something else but gets cut off.

"Ko se ata yen si freezer," Iya Ibegi who just got to the shop asks while she steps in.

"Eka san mummy (good evening mummy), " Tolani greet while bending down.

"Eka san ma!" Kehinde follows suit.

"Ba wo ni!"( how are you) Iya Ibeji says while dropping her bag in the table. Her eyes quickly caught sight of something.

"Who left those? "She asks frightening both girls, Kehinde and Tolani throw a quick glance.

"Are you both now dumb?" Iya Ibeji asks while eyeing the two bags which were filled up with junk probably gotten from her shop.

Tolani lets her eyes bulge out wondering how the hell she could have forgotten to asks Kelvin to take them along and how he foolishly forgot too.

"A customer, she said she will be back to pick them up" Tolani says trying hard not to stammer.

"Oda," Iya Ibeji replies now scanning the shop.
