“Oh great,” Lee said, looking at the pterosaur sitting on the balcony, hunched over the road atlas. “Now what do we do?” The man collapsed into a chair and gazed blank eyed at the pterosaur. Kody was jumping up and down and hooting. Lee wasn’t sure she had heard him say a proper word yet. Will was standing with Helen and Iggy. Iggy was crouched low on the floor, his teeth bared at the pterosaur outside, his ears flat along his skull. “We should go somewhere else in the building,” Helen said. “Out of this thing’s sight.” Megan went and stood by her dad, put a hand on his shoulder. “Don’t matter,” she said. “It’ll get bored soon and go.
