Gabriel looked like a sulking child when he saw I was all packed, and I couldn’t help but laugh at his expression as I turned to him, seeing him in the doorway.
“You look adorable, do you know that?” I teased.
He sighed, looking away, not appearing interested in being teased.
“I will be back,” I swore.

“We will see each other again tomorrow,” I reminded him.

I couldn’t help but chuckle again as I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck. He seemed reluctant to give in to me, but he couldn’t hold back and placed his hands on my hips.
“It’s only a little over 24 hours,” I said, and he groaned as if in pain.
