A knock on the door told me someone wished to gain entry. I thought it was my assistant, as I had asked her to gather some information for me. So, without thinking, I told the person to enter. When I heard the clicking of heels, I lifted my eyes only momentarily before going back, my heart racing a little as I saw who was coming closer to me.
