A large bite mark was healing on her neck, but her ability to heal was much slower than normal wolves. However, I didn’t mind it one bit. Seeing that dark red spot with the two puncture wounds left me with a dark feeling of satisfaction, but I couldn’t deny a part of me also felt dissatisfaction, knowing it wasn’t a permanent mark and would disappear, just like the ones she had left on me. I reached up, rubbing the sore spots where she had bitten me but not punctured the skin. We were missing pieces of the puzzle, and it worried me, leaving me unable to rest. I knew part of the reason why I couldn’t sleep was because I had just fed. It left me with too much energy
