Chapter 7 ~ The wolves

I sigh as i step forward. A tall guy with blonde hair and dark eyes steps forward. "Who are you and why are you here?" He asks almost growling. "I'm Lynn, grace sent me to come find you." He crosses his arms over his chest. "Why?" Someone from his left steps beside him. He had black hair and green eyes that almost reminded of leafs growing on a tree. "Noah, if grace sent her then it might be something we're needed in." He glances at me. "Lynn right? I'm Jackson, this is Noah our leader." He says as he holds his hand out for me to shake. I shake his hand. He gives me a bright smile as he steps beside Noah who gives him a dirty look. "Did she say why she sent you?" I roll my eyes. "Of course i know why she sent me." He rises an eyebrow. "Then it's not important for us." He starts to step away but i grab his wrist something i didn't think about beforehand. As i grab his wrist Jackson steps back an unsure look on his face. "Let me go." Noah says sending me a glare. "Can you listen to me for a second?" I ask through my clenched teeth. "No." He says. "Why?"

"Because i don't deal with you vampires." He spits the words at me anger over taking his tone. Jackson steps forward. "Noah just hear her out okay? She probably has a good reason why she's doing this." Jackson looks at me rising his eyebrows slightly. "There's a rouge vampire group they took some girls, Grace wants to see if you'll help." Noah looks at me for a second before slowly shaking his head. "No i won't work under a vampire."

"she's not asking to work under her but to help!" As i say this he rips his arm away from me. He takes a step back the anger in his eyes seems to grow with anger as he looks at me. I step back from him already knowing what will happen next. I watch as he transforms into a fully white wolf with dark eyes. Jackson steps in between us. "Who are the girls?" Jackson asks as he turns so he was facing me. "Jenny and Taylor, they are both vampire hunters." Jackson gives me a confused look. "Then why does she want to save them?" Jackson asks confused. "A few reasons, The rouge vampires wanna share our little secret with the world and Taylor is Tristan's mate and Jenny is Kai's mate."

"They both found mates? That's awesome." He says with a small smile. A low growl comes from Noah. "Look just think it over please?" I say as i step back. Noah looks at Jackson after a minute Jackson looks at me. "Let me go get the rest of the pack then we can leave okay?"

"You guys don't need to all come just Noah and another wolf." As i say this a gray wolf bounces out of the woods he lands beside Noah his Hazel eyes almost seemed happy. "alright then Noah and Jay will go with you the rest of us will wait here." Jackson said turning so he was facing Noah. "Alright we should leave now so we can get back before dark." I turn around and take off into the woods. By the time we get back to the mansion it's sunset. I open the door for Noah and Jay. "Thank you." Jay says as he walks in Noah follows Jay in. I look around the living much to my surprise it's empty. "They're probably in the throne area." I say as i walk to the doors and pull them open. They give each other a look before they step inside the throne room. Tristan stood behind grace he looked to be wearing a white button up shirt with black pants. I turn to Grace. "I'm sure you remember Noah?" Grace nods. "Of course how could i forget?" She says while standing. "And who are you?" She asks as she walk towards Jay. "I'm Jay." He says as he holds out a hand for her to shake. She gently takes his hand in hers and gives it a little shake. "Are you newer? I don't believe we've met." Jay looks back at Noah who gave him a little shrug. "I've been around for a few years." Grace nods then looks at Noah. "We have much to talk about." Noah nods. "I heard some rogue vampires kidn*pped a few humans? Not much different from any other day, So why'd you ask me to come?" Both Kai and Tristan tensed. "So it's true then?" He says crossing his arms. Grace shot me a look. "Lynn can we talk for a second?" Her tone left no room for argument. I walked over to her. "What?"

"How much did you tell him?" She asks as she narrows her eyes. "He wouldn't come and even when i told him everything he still didn't want to." Grace sighs. "Are you worried about them?"

"No I'm more worried about the vampires, I don't know what abilities they have and unless we know you need to be careful where you share the information at." I nod. "Okay it won't happen again." She nods. And with that i walk to my throne. Noah and Jay stood in the middle of the room. "So you know what needs to be done?" Grace asks. "No we were told to come here to talk about the plan." Grace nods. "Okay, Tristan you wanna start?" He nods then steps forward so he was standing beside Grace. "Justin has found were they are but there might be a few issues."

"Issues? what kind?" Noah asks. "Like they might be working with a few werewolves."

"Why would they be working with some of my pack?" Noah asks almost glaring at Tristan. "I don't know Justin is looking into it."

"How long will it take?" Grace asks. "I don't know not as long since Zoey is working with him but we're still not sure."

"Is that the only issue?"

"No, there's this thing Justin keeps seeing but I've never heard or seen anything by it's description." Tristan says with a nervous look.
