Lucas Walters (POV)
I am so excited. My mate, my life’s wolf is waking. Soon we will be able to go for runs together. For now, I have a better plan to fulfill. Jane must be feeling more sensitive at this point as her senses are improving. I plan to make mad love to her. It is a good way for us to celebrate her wolf.
We get to our room, and I lay her on the bed. I stared at her as she stared back with the same hunger in her eyes that I had. Then she smiled at me.
“I can hear your heart beating fast with desire.” She whispered. “I never heard it before. My hearing must be improving.”
I smiled back at her, “That is great. That is a sign of your wolf.” I climbed on the bed and hovered above her. “As for my heart…It always beat like this when I am around you.”
