Luke pulled out his phone from his pocket and called Hunter.
"good day sir, how many I help you?"
"if a guy called Florian Elvis shows up in your office, make his family and business go bankrupt, we won't be partnering with them anymore."
"okay sir, I'll do that."
Luke hung up, just then Hunter heard a knock on his door.
"come in." it was Florian.
"Good morning Mr Hunter, I'm Florian, representing the Elvis corporation. this i s out proposal for work at the city center, and I would appreciate if you review it." Florian was shaking to his skull.
"unfortunately I've been informed by the CEO that I wouldn't be reviewing your proposal, you and your family are out, we won't be partnering with you anymore. good day."
Florian was devastated and yet confused, he'd thought Mr Hunter was the CEO. was there someone ahead of him. he suddenly came back to his senses "sir, please give me a chance, let me prove my self, i_"
"no, bosses orders."
"well can you please help me get through to him."
"no is no, now leave my office."
Florian turned and headed for the door. his shoulders were no longer lofty, his ego degraded. his eyes filled with tears waiting to burst out. he dump him when she sees hee cannot keep ,up with her demands. now he sees what Luke meant by shameless, but how did luke know, was look some how related to Mr Hunter. was Luke related to this in anyway, because he knows his dad had been good friends with Mr Elon before he died, he knew his dad and Mr Hunter had a special bond, he must have done something to offend Mr Hunter. but the only person he is sure to have offended lately was Luke. did Luke have and influence on Mr Hunter's decision. "no." he stopped himself from thinking that far "there is no way that good for nothing loser could boss Mr Hunter around, he can't even get a hold of his wife, he'll now have control over the CEO of the stellar corporation, the biggest corporation in the whole country, and not to mention, the richest man in the whole country, probably the whole continent.

Luke was amazed by the alluring way Hunter turned the company around. it was nothing like he remembered. Hunter was really doing a good job. then he heard a familiar voice behind him.
"good day sir," Hunter said with an elongated smile plastered on his round pale face, his eyes looked dull, he obviously didn't get enough sleep over night.
"oh Hunter, didn't see you there."
"hope you had a good night sir." Hunter yawned.
"yes I did, uhm how about you, how was your night." Luke asked.
"my night was splendid, thank you for asking sir."
Luke could tell Hunter was lying, he didn't just want it to seem like he had been working to much because Luke always had something about him overworking, he deserved rest too.
"Hunter."
"sir."
"are you sure you slept well?"
"yes sir, why did you ask he yawned again.
Luke just smiled "just take the day off. I'll run things in the main time."
"no sir, I'm perfectly fine, I don't need rest."
"that's an order." he chuckled
"uhm okay sir, thank you sir." Hunter left the building and into his SUV parked not far from Luke's own.

"Valerie, hello, Valerie are you there." Esther said. the other end of the line remained silent. Esther hung up "why isn't she speaking. Kubo and his parents would soon be here and we need to start preparing. tonight must be perfect enough to convince Kubo to get married to her. she better not screw this up for me."
Esther was just a cunning woman. she only wanted Valerie to get married to Kubo because she knew kubo's status in the city. he was part of the top ten most successful entrepreneurs in the country. he could even boost the Winston name. she was never in support of Valerie getting married to Luthe ke, he had no money and had no benefit to her or the family, but Valerie was very stubborn and followed love.
Esther was finally brought back to her senses when she saw a black SUV pull up just in front of the house. "oh damn, that's probably Kubo." she panicked but he was shocked when she saw Luke come down from the car.
"what the f**k is he doing here, and why is he in a car that expensive." she said in a voice below a whisper.
without hesitation, Luke walked into the building heading straight for the door. Esther, who happened to be peeping through the window the whole time quickly ran to the front door to prevent him from coming in.
"what do you want."
"none of your business Esther, just get out of my way, I don't want any issues."
"if you are looking for Valerie, she's not home."
"why on earth would I be looking for Valerie." Luke thought.
"no I'm just here to get my things."
"your things?" she looked annoyed "you mean the things your ex wife had gotten for you since you leeched unto her."
"just get out of my way." his voice ice cold and his expression colder.
"hell no. you are even forgetting that you are to pay for compensation."
"what do you mean compensation?"
"for all the stress and money you pressed out of Valerie."
Luke was already losing it, he didn't want to hear her wretched voice anymore.
"I want you to pay five million dollars straight up." she pouted.
"fine I'll pay it." Luke sighed
"what?"
"did I stutter?, I said I'll pay it."
Esther looked confused and then burst out into laughter, she didn't really mean it, it wasn't even her decision, it wad Valerie's, but she just wanted to pull his legs, she didn't expect him to take her seriously. five million dollars would be a dream for him.
"look you want the money or not." his tone even colder.
"so you are telling me that a loser like you, would pay five million dollars for real. I bet you couldn't even afford two hundred thousand dollars."
Luke pulled out his phone and called Hunter.
"Hunter, I want you to bring me five million dollars in two minutes, I have some cunning woman over here that is desperately in need of money."
"did I just here you say Hunter, the richest man on the planet, wow I always knew you were delusional but not on this level." she laughed.
Luke was already full of rage, he wanted to grab her arm and snap it, but he controlled his temper and walked away when he saw Valerie's car pull up right in front of his.
"hahaha run away coward, I knew you're too low life and broke to afford such a sum." she yelled, but Luke ignored her coldly, which made her feel dumb.
Luke and Valerie passed each other like total strangers, but Luke could feel Valerie's piercing eyes mock him.
Valerie walked towards her mom. and they watched Luke get into his car.
as Luke was about driving out, he noticed a familiar car park behind him.
a woman in a cream colored dress and black hair stepped out.
