Chapter 21 “Damn, it’s cold.” Harper jogged in place to keep warm as he, ironically, tried to cool down without freezing his nuts off after his run. Running wasn’t so much fun now that the temperature dropped below freezing. He’d only done six miles today, but they were hard and fast. Investing in a treadmill wasn’t worth it for the two months it was colder than a snowman’s ass at seven in the morning. Besides, Harper liked having breakfast with Lucas before work. Most days he woke up with Lucas’s alarm and went for his run when Lucas left for the day.
