The Colonel and his team were enjoying a delicious meal of Delmonico steak, boiled potatoes, black beans, biscuits and coffee with a decadent dessert of a large swath of German Chocolate cake.
"Anyone else notice that EVERYONE here is watching us?" BJ asked.
As she looked around the room, there were a couple of people
taking an extra special interest in their table. A man and woman seated close by were obviously staring at them and whispering. Finally, BJ spoke to them.
"Would you two care to join us? If you don't would you please stop your gawking."
The gentleman stood and introduced himself as Artemis Cassidy from Virginia. He apologized that he did not mean to stare but is the gentleman seated at the end of your table “The Colonel” as in Colonel DeKay?"
