A girl crossed palace lawn on a horse, she had striking brown eyes and her hairs tied in bun. She received an urgent message while she was preparing herself for deployment towards the outer eastern zone of Skyler's capital after they got the news that the area had already been breached by mountainers. The mountainers were becoming a serious pain to their city and its dwellers, she couldn't wait to kick their butts out back to their rotten and dark caves. Then the messengers came with a message from the palace that lord Vincent ordered for her presence as quick as possible. That made her to immediately stop her preparation took her horse and rode faster than a wind, it only took half an hour to reach the palace now she was right in front of the stairs leading to the hall. she got off her horse and climbed the stairs in fast pace, this was no other girl than Irina Kishov herself the upcoming hunter and air elemental in Skyler city, whom the general suggested to lord Vincent. The general and lord Vincent stopped talking when they heard doors of the hall open. General turned his head a little at the sound of footsteps approaching after seeing Irina he moved aside so she could face lord Vincent direct. Lord Vincent watched Irina with keen eyes showing clear interest, he noticed she was just a teen and had medium petite body, body size didn't fool him for the way she walked and carried herself was swift and upright like a true warrior indicated that a best teacher had been at her disposal to teach her that art. After she had reached at the foot of the stairs leading to the throne where lord vincent sat she bowed her head. "my lord." she greeted in humble voice then turned to the general closed her right hand into a fist and beat it at her chest. "salute." General nodded his head in acknowledgement, lord Vincent smiled in appreciation for that discipline. "you must be irina, I have little about you from the general." lord Vincent then paused to look at the general, "He told me you are phoenix and a good one too." Irina didn't know what to reply for it seemed a question and compliment were combined in the same sentence, lord Vincent rose slowly from the throne and started descending the stairs. "Do you have any relative in military or an elemental perhaps?" lord Vincent questioned. "my father." she replied shortly when lord Vincent remained quite she went on. "He was a trooper and a captain of his squad, he has served for thirty years now he's in retirement." "Only him?" he asked her, irina avoided his gaze. "No, I also had a brother who served in the army and an elemental his name was ian. he died in the fight with the scavengers." Irina replied her voice clearly hurting, remembering past memories shared with her brother. "My condolences, no wonder you resemble." lord Vincent told her in sympathetic voice. "met him once he had such a charming personality. Don't know about your father though but have heard about him too." Irina hid her emotions not revealing how broken and in pain she was, ian was her role model that's why she choose becoming a warrior like her brother despite of her father's opposition. "l know your family have offered and sacrificed so much for this city and its citizen, I wish this would have been placed in another person's hands but there is a situation which have rose requiring of your skills and assistance, if that would be fine with you." lord Vincent told her. Irina have heard of urgent calls and favours which lord Vincent asked from his people during the times of need, but she never thought of a day that the same would have been asked from her. Irina always thought it was such an honor to be personally asked of the favour by lord Vincent himself, now placed in the situation she saw it dreadful and scary for whatever was asked of her wouldn't be on Vincent's benefit rather than good of all the nation, it was one for all. If ian was kept in the same position he would've agreed but from her father's perceptive he wouldn't have agreed she was the last child left of Kishov bloodline. "anything for my city beneficial to my people lord." Irina replied confidently. There is no turning back.
