It has been five days since our failed attempt at trapping Claudia. Nothing has happened since, no attacks and no sightings either. Will has had practically the whole pack out searching for her every day, but they never seem to find anything, not even a trace of her presence in this town. Either she is smarter than we all think, or she’s not even here anymore. Over the last few days, we have found excuses for me to be alone at night while the wolves and Troy hide in the shadows, hoping that she would appear, but she never did. I am beginning to feel hopeless about it all. Perhaps she has moved on to someone else to torture, and we will have to spend the rest of our lives looking over our shoulders.
