Ace and Gargi wandered over to where their cars are parked.
Gargi stooped at her car. Ace was going towards his car when he heard Gargi call.
"Ace."
Ace turned around to look at her. "Yes?"
"Hmm, when will the match going to start?" Gargi asked.
"In two hours," Ace said.
"Two hours, then why are we leaving so early?" Gargi questioned.
Ace didn't want to answer the question.
"Because my boys are going to play and as a mentor, I need to be there," Ace replied.
Gargi nodded her head and didn't say anything.
Ace nodded back before going towards where his car is parked.
Gargi unlocked her car and got inside, buckling her seatbelt she drove the car outside.
She waited for Ace to come. Ace slightly slowed down the car for Gargi to follow him.
"Why couldn't he ask me to come with him," Gargi muttered following Ace's car.
Julie looked at her reflection as she pulled the t-shirt on. She pushed her hair back and leaned down to pick the comb.
"She wore a t-shirt and denim shorts."
She took her time while getting ready for the match. She didn't overdress up or something.
The door opened in walked her roommate. "Hey Julie, wassup?" Tessa questioned going towards her bed.
Julie looked at her, "nothing just getting ready," Julie replied getting up from the chair.
"Getting ready to go the match?" Tessa asked looking at Julie.
"Yes! You wanna join me? It would be super fun," Julie said wandering over to Tessa.
Tessa chuckled shaking her head. "I know it's going to be fun but I can't. I got work to attend and Maggie isn't going to give a holiday," Tessa said.
"I seriously wish that you attend a match with me," Julie said.
"I wish that too... Even I want to attend the matches, at least one. Maybe to the next match, I will join you," Tessa said with a hopeful glint in her eyes.
Tessa loves Julie but they hardly get time to spend together. Julie is a fine art student while Tessa is doing her master's in business.
Long story short, Julie joined the university a year late and all the dormitories were full except the one that belongs to the business students.
And that's how Julie ended up becoming Tessa's roomie. Julie loves Tessa too, she doesn't disturb her nor she is a loud person.
Tessa is calm and quiet opposite of Julie but they are good roommates.
"Next match is the finals. You are coming with me and that's final!" Julie said.
Tessa laughed. "Sure, now you enjoy. I will just go and take a small nap before I get ready for my shift."
"You are doing a double shift?" Julie asked in confusion.
"Yes, babe. Next month our class group is going on vacation and I need to save up money. It's going to be a seven-day trip," Tessa said removing her hoodie.
"Seven days? Where you guys are planning to go?" Julie asked in interest.
"Cartegena, Columbia," Tessa said looking at Julie.
"Woah, that's a good choice."
"Haha, yeah. So we will be leaving around the second week. We have to be back by the third week as our assignment week starts later," Tessa explained.
"Haha, vacation ends and assignments begin for you guys," Julie said.
"Yeah... Sucks but that's okay."
"By the way, there is a parcel for you. I guess your sister sent you," Julie said pointing to the yellow box laying near Tessa's bed.
Tessa sighed looking at the box. "I told her not to send anything."
"Why? Is everything okay?"
Julie knows that some issues are going on at Tessa's house. That is the reason Tessa didn't go back home on holiday.
"I guess so but my brother-in-law is being a pain in the ass and my sister sends the apology f*****g stuff."
"Honestly, your brother-in-law is a creep. He got some weird ideas on you," Julie said bluntly knowing about Tessa's brother-in-law.
Tessa chuckled, "yeah... He thinks my ass is hot and fine for his dick."
Julie's eyes slightly widen in horror. "Woah! Woah! Did he say that?" Julie asked.
Tessa sat on her bed. "Yeah, that's the reason I ended up fighting in the house. The same old story, my sister is too naive and in love that she doesn't want to leave him. My parents don't give a f**k about it."
"Should've kicked the asshole."
"Haha, maybe I don't have the guts to kick him."
"I will do it for you," Julie said confidently and she knows she will.
Tessa gave a huge thumbs-up. "Yes, girl. I know you will for me," Tessa said truthfully.
Tessa knew she can always count on Julie if anyone troubles her. There was a time where Julie punched a senior's nose as he was troubling Tessa.
Julie's phone started ringing. "s**t! Where did I keep this phone."
"Maybe in the washroom," Tessa said removing her socks.
"Yeah."
Julie ran towards the washroom and saw the phone on the basin island. She answered the call.
"Hello?"
"Julie darling, where are you?" She heard her mom's voice.
"Hey mommy, I'm in my dormitory."
"You are still in your dormitory? When you will be coming?"
"In twenty minutes... Probably," Julie said looking at the time.
"Okay, did you eat?"
"Yes! I had red sauce pasta and it was so good."
Julie heard her mum and dad laugh hearing that. "You and your red sauce pasta," Gigi said.
"Red sauce pasta is my love. You can't make fun of my love," Julie said not so seriously.
"Okay... Okay... We will not make fun but come fast. You need to meet your brother before the game," Gigi said.
"Yeah, I will be there."
Julie ended the call, went into the room to see Tessa laying down.
She picked her backpack and looked at the table and bed to see if she missed anything.
When she didn't miss anything she turned her head and looked at Tessa.
"See ya later, senior. Take care and love you," Julie said.
"Yup. See ya later, junior. Go carefully and love ya."
Julie gave a two-finger salute before leaving the dormitory. She needs to catch the bus to reach the stadium.
Thankfully there is a direct bus and she doesn't have to change buses.
