Ace pulled on his mask and hood as he stood beside his car. Gargi stepped out of her car and locked it.
She smoothed down her dress before walking towards where Ace stood.
"Shall we go inside?" Gargi asked.
"Just a minute, I need to text Samuel," Ace said.
"Okay."
Gargi crossed her arms and looked around. They parked their cars in the back parking lot from where they can enter the stadium through the back door.
Her gaze went to the three men standing near the bus as they smoking.
'I'm at the stadium. I'm going to meet the boys,' Ace typed.
Samuel who is standing with Ruth checked his phone as he received a message.
He read the message from Ace. 'Where are you? Antonio, Kaleb and Preston are outside near the back gate.' He texted back.
Ace read the text and looked around. He saw Antonio and Kaleb from afar as they are smoking.
"Let's go inside," Ace said.
Gargi looked at Ace nodding her head. Ace started walking and Gargi followed him inside.
"Nervous?" Antonio asked Kaleb.
Kalbe exhaled the smoke. "A bit, the new team is good. I don't know what's going to happen. There are high chances of them to be in finals," Kaleb spoke.
"Yes, they are good. I think they will be the one who will be winning the semi-finals with Team Vici Gaming," Preston said.
"What about ours? Are we going to win the semifinals?" Antonio asked seriously.
"We may or we may not... It all depends on us and team support," Kaleb said taking the joint from Preston.
"Team support... My ass... Ruth is not even helping me in the gameplay. She is playing her own game and who is going to help me with the push-up?" Preston asked shaking his head.
Antonio and Kaleb understood what Preston is trying to say. Ruth and Preston are the back liners of their team.
Together they need to fight off the melees and support each other with the powers they have but that's not happening.
"Only two matches and everything will change. Just concentrate on your gameplay. When you need the push up of the powers, I will be there. I will help you out," Antonio said.
"Yeah... Yeah..." Preston said turning his head and looking at the two people going through the back door.
"When is their semi-final gonna start?" Kaleb asked.
"In an hour."
Team Jaggers and Team Fnatic have their semifinals on the same day in the evening after Team A and B and Team Vici Gaming's match.
"Let's go inside, Diego is calling," Antonio said checking his messages from Diego.
"Yeah, we need to meet the company heads and CFO," Kaleb said.
Preston closed his eyes and stretched his arms before wandering inside.
Gargi gently pushed her hair back as she followed Ace inside. Some people looked at them.
Ace didn't make any eye contact with anyone. They had to stop at the entrance as they had to show their ID cards.
"We have to be on stage in twenty minutes," Grant said.
"Twenty minutes?" Sawyer asked.
"Yes, in twenty minutes. The game will start in an hour and some introductions have to be done," Grant said.
"Did Tanay speak to you?" Maya asked.
"Yeah... Tanay was here ten minutes ago. He informed us about it," Kayden said.
"Good, don't eat anything. Like last time, you feel like going to the washroom in the middle of the game," Maya said strictly looking at the boys.
"It was Zeke who wanted to use the washroom," Daman said.
"It might be Zeke or anyone of you. It might be you this time, who knows. So be careful and don't eat anything extra," Maya said.
"Okay."
Greyson is in the background with his eyes closed as he tries to keep his thoughts at bay.
They have to win this match no matter what. They have reached this far and they can't leave it here.
Greyson wants to feel Ace's presence. With him being with them is an important thing.
Ace knocked on the door before entering the room.
The boys turned around to see when they heard the door knock.
Zeke's eyes widen in shock. "Brother Ace!" He yelled excitedly.
Greyson opened his eyes to see Ace. Zeke rushed over to Ace.
"You are here! Where were you? I missed you so much!" Zeke said hugging Ace.
Ace didn't know what to say as Zeke suddenly hugged him tightly.
"Brother Ace! I'm so happy that you are here!" Kayden said wandering towards Ace.
"I thought you weren't going to be there," Logan said.
"Even I thought the same. I thought we are not going to see you," Carl said.
"Thank god you are here, brother Ace," Rhett said.
"Yes," Myles said.
"Yeah," Brooks and Daman said.
Gargi is a bit surprised to see the affection between the boys and Ace.
One by one they hugged Ace as they missed him so much.
Maya and Sawyer looked at Ace in surprise and shock. They didn't think that he would be here.
"What Maya didi you said brother Ace isn't going to be there?" Kayden asked Maya didi.
Everyone looked at Maya. Ace nodded his head looking at Greyson.
They don't have to talk, their silence is their conversation. There is an unsaid understanding between them.
"Surprise, do you, boys, like it?" Sawyer said wrapping his arm around Maya.
"Like it? Love it. I'm just so happy... I mean we are so happy," Zeke said.
"Haha, looking at your brother Ace you boys have forgotten Gargi," Maya teasingly said.
That's when the boys turned their gaze and looked at Gargi who is standing behind Ace.
"Hello, Gargi," Logan said.
"Hi Gargi," Grant said.
"Hey, boys."
Everyone greeted Gargi while Ace wandered towards Greyson. Greyson looked at Ace.
"I hope you know the rules and the goal," Ace said stopping before Greyson.
"Yes."
"I hope whatever you are going through have ended," Greyson whispered looking into the eyes of Ace.
Ace blinked his eyes, he didn't expect that to hear from Greyson.
"The boys don't know anything, it's just me who felt it," Greyson added.
Ace nodded his head. "Have ended," Ace replied in a simple tone.
