Ace's POV
I didn't know what to do with myself, I should have been protecting Alicia, but the way she spoke to Emilia earlier she deserved all she got. I was caught between a rock and a hard place, I felt proud of the way Emilia had defended herself, but I knew I should have been standing up for Alicia, if my father found out I let this happen, he'd have my balls in a vice.
I gave Amelia a scowl as I went to help Alicia up, not because of what she did, but for the fact, she had made me have to pretend to be concerned for Alicia's well being.
When I got to Alicia's side, she was halfway up already, I placed my hands under her elbows to try and give her some support, but she just elbowed me in the ribs. I saw Emilia glare at her and it made me feel warm, to think she actually still care
