Emilia's POV  I lay on the bed for what felt like hours, choking out sobs, until everything felt numb. My head fuzzed and I stared at the painted walls until they blurred into darkness. I woke and the previously bright room had been shadowed by the darkness of night. I attempted to move from my position, but was weighted down by an arm around my stomach. My movement must have stirred whoever the limb belonged to as they nuzzled deeper into my back, squeezing my waist tighter. Slowly, I pulled myself around to face my captor and was met with a drowsy Ace, his half lidded blue eyes stared at me, dozily with a sleepy grin. "What are you doing in here?"
