Mareddeth went to her friend's house Rose to blow of the steam of her break up never knowing she was going to fuel it up. "Oh! hey Mady we were not expecting you." "is everything alright? you seem pale come inside" she said ushering her in. Samantha and Stacey were there also " you girls didn't tell me there was a sleep over." she faked a smile. "oh! just talking about this and that, you know us and we didn't want to bother you knowing you will be with you know who..." Samantha replied her giggling only to be shut by Stacey with a stern look. "What? you guys were joking right?" she asked with a shocked expression. "What are you talking about?" Mareddeth asked in a hurtful look. It has only been a few hours after the break up how could they know? Who told them? questions ran wild in her mind as she approached them, begging to be let in on the news. Rose's face was flushed as she replied her carefully, " well Mac told me that Josh is married. Is it true Mady?" They stared at her.
She felt a sharp pain peirce her heart like a double bladed knife. Which girl displaced her so quickly and what does she have that she lacked. Joshua, the man she sacrificed so much to be with, loved so much " Since when....when was he married and who's the girl, d....d...do...I know her?" she stammered trying to keep her composure, mild the pain but rung on and on. Lips quivering and eyes flooding with tears, she felt her whole world crumble fearing and dreading the answer as her friends looked at each other wondering if they should even tell her for the difficult part was, Joshua wasn't married to a woman.
"Rose, Stacey, Samy please I need to know the reason why he left me, w....who...." she couldn't contain the tears anymore. Falling to the floor as her friends rushed to her side, she continued whipping " w....who please, who?" Stacey replied her begging crying as well " Philip, his name is Philip and they got mar....." before she could finish her sentence she was cut by her friend's shocked face and colour drained from her skin "HE! a man? no, Joshua is not gay." she ended certain. Rose took out her phone and showed her the wedding pictures on social media. Truth be told he was beautiful, the curly blonde hair that fell on his face, the mesmerising deep blue eyes and the pink flushed full lips were arousing. The guy was a specimen on his own but the hate that lingered on her face was not to be taken lightly. Like a switch that has been turned on she stood up with determination to make it stop. Make the pain stop, make him pay for the scar on her heart one that even time dared not touch.
She rung the door bell but no one answered so she knocked and knocked until someone answered her. A smile came on her face realising it was Joshua, maybe it was a lie. Her Joshua was not gay and they will solve their differences, if it was s*x she will improve. The door opened and Joshua appeared but so did her horror, the blue eyed man. She flipped, losing control of her mind. Her screaming woke up the neighbours but to tell the truth the pain wouldn't stop. It wouldn't go away, the sharp sword of fate left her clutching at her heart and crying her eyes out on the road facing Joshua's home. Between her and him, he chose the blue eyed Philip. The years they spent together meant nothing in front of Philip, this Philip who came into his life after her. The humiliation of being replaced by a man, the insult was too much to bare. She will never leave him in peace until he feels the exact same pain she was feeling.
Arriving home she had no time to waste, the plan was already in place she needed to act it out now. The blame is on him, he ruined a life long relationship for what? To prove that gays were better? over her dead body. She smiled to herself realising she had become more sinister, was this how serial killers were born? Well only time will tell. She laughed. And laughed. Picturing his pretty face with long deep scars, like the ones on her heart. He clearly messed with the wrong woman. "Joshua is confused, it's only sex." she said to herself when she remembered that Philip was wearing a gown that wasn't even tied properly. They were having s*x, she thought to herself, pain replacing her smiles. "He will pay for what he did to me. If I cannot have Joshua then no one will, not even his father will stop me. I've had enough, it's enough. The pain must stop and the ill treatment will end. People will no longer treat me like a worthless h**." she said before going
to sleep still in her plans that she can see vividly coming to place. Just when she was about to sleep, a knock sounded and it continued endlessly.
