I think today was the day when I will know the extent of cruelness life is playing with me. By gauging at Con’s reaction, I know I won’t like what I will be hearing next. I hold my breath as he reveals everything and with each revelation, my heart hurts and pain with betrayal. Even though it was before he accepted the mate bond, but still the pain won’t lessen for me.
“You should understand that this was before I even accepted our mate bond. Now that I know how it is, I could not care less about anything else. All I want to know is I will still have you at the end of this revelation” he looks at me expectantly, waiting for my affirmation. I don’t give him any at the moment.
