All around me are strange creatures. Creatures like midnight blue, double headed lions,Deer that glow neon in the dark, five tailed wolves, green foxes with crimson glowing eyes, Purple skies, a blazing blue sun, and a gigantic silvery gold moon, forests that glow and oceans that can swallow you whole, I am lost in an unknown world Full of wonder and beauty, curiosity and awe. A unique yet terrifying world. A world of oddities and the imagination wonders at the sight…
It all seems so real… But I know that I must be dreaming. I had to be. I walk farther and soon I am surrounded by black. Darkness. I’m confused and scared… I look down and notice I don’t have a body. Am I just a soul? Spirit? Air? I don’t know… I walk forward for what feels like years when I know it has only been a few minutes. I see a light in the distance. I cant make it out…but…

“Delilah!” I gasp awake and everything is blurry.
“Where… Where am I?” I start to see a bit more clearly now. Austin is over me with tears running. No. Pouring down his face…”Austin?” he just hugs me close like he did at the school and I start to remember what had happened…

“Delilah, we don’t know what’s wrong with you. You’re symptoms. They’re nothing like anything we have really seen before. You faint all the time, and after you faint, your body gets cold, you are clinically dead at that point but your body functions remain, I would say, somewhat normal. You are lucky to still be alive! So please. Let us run some more tests.” he walks into the other room and I start to feel something... Horrible... It’s as if I know I won’t be here much longer. All I can think is... Why me... As everything starts to fade to black again.
As I awake I feel this pain in my abdomen, like something is trying to stab into me.. I open my eyes.. And all I can see is blurred shapes but.. There is something different about them.. Their eyes… it looks like their glowing an orange hue.. As I wake up more and more, everything begins to come into focus and I scream when I see that my doctor, the one I have known for years, with these gruesome claws trying to dig into my flesh, eyes glowing and blood all over his shredded mask. All I could think was how I was going to escape...
I struggle about the table but it seems I’m chained down… the terrifying creatures staring at me. Looking into me with horrific eyes as my body trembles. I feel the need to scream but nothing comes out and as I look down at my stomach.. I see a hollowed thing… no intestines, no stomach, bladder, kidneys, everything is gone… all I see is my ribs and the horrific creatures in front of me… I think to myself “Am I dead? Is this my purgatory? Did I do something utterly wrong while I lived? Why is this happening to me?” I see my doctor… he jumps on to me… growling in my face and chattering his razor like teeth above my jugular and then...

I jolt awake in the hospital bed, nurse racing into the room to check on my monitor, sweat dripping down my forehead, heart racing.
“Miss Delilah, are you okay??” She asked frightened, obviously new.
I answered back hesitantly “Y… yes, I believe so…” but was I? Was I okay? What’d I just dream of just now… was it a nightmare? Was it real?.. And within moments I couldn’t recall what it was about.
“Well… if you need anything please tell me. I’ll be outside.” She walked out the door, leaving me in my lonesome.
It’s been several weeks since I’ve seen my love and I’m getting worried… He always comes and visits me… I hope he’s doing alright… my handsome Austin… I’m sure he’s okay… probably busy with school and all...That’s it.. Everything is going to be alright...
