The announcer said.
All of the adventurers who participated in the event got a participation reward. It’s a potion cookie, a cookie that works like a potion and a bag of 100 gold.
Still, I wanted that 500,000 gold through.
Maybe I’ll stay here in this city for tonight and continue on my journey tomorrow morning.
“The third-place who have 467 points and will receive 100,000 gold as a reward. The red-haired swordsman… Red riding Akane!”
Akane then goes up to the stage and receives her reward.
“Thank you so much, I really enjoy the battle. Even though I didn’t win, I think this is a great experience. I will continue my best and became a great adventurer.”
“Why you're talking like your a celebrity? Next is second place… The man who kill thousand monster and thousand demons the most powerful dual wielder in the world… Blaze Fullbuster!”
After the exaggerated words from the announcer, Blaze came up to the stage with his bored-looking face.
“Thank you.”
Blaze said and get his reward of 200,000 gold.
“Lastly, the honored one and one of the heroes allies. The hero's right hand. The one who wins in the battle royal Keele Godhand… Do you have any words?”
“It’s expected for me to win this battle royal because I’m the strongest. I’m a chosen one and I will become the god of the new world. I don’t really need this 500,000 gold. I have a pile of them in my mansion.”
“Then, why did you join this event?!”

Keele replied.
Everyone was pissed off by his arrogance and started throwing an empty can of soda and tomato.

The adventurers said in an angry tone.

Well, just hearing him speak really pissed me off.

I will make a lottery on whose going to have the hero expedition ticket and whose going to have the rare equipment… Everyone gets a small piece of paper and writes their name… I will start the lottery.”
Keele said and get a box for the lottery.
The angry expression of the people was then replaced by cheerfulness and excitement.

All of the adventurers who didn’t win including me put our names on the box. After a few moments, The announcer started drawing the names of the winner.
“The one who will get the rare equipment is an adventurer named Anne Woodwork.”
A girl jumps in joy and gets her rare equipment.
The face of the girl looks familiar to me, I now remember that girl is one of the wizards that blasted my magic in a one-way street.
“Now I can sell this and have money for the medicine of my little sister.”
She said with a smile.
She’s selling a rare item, I wonder how much it would cost? I’m quite interested in it.
The announcer then read the other name written on a small piece of paper in his hand.
“The one who will get the heroes expedition ticket is the adventurer named Hiyami Mayu!”
I get up on the stage to get my reward.
“What’s this ticket means?”
“That ticket is a used to join the heroes in their next expedition in World tree Island. I’m already one of the adventurers chosen to participate, I don’t really need to join this battle royal.”
Announcer said.
“I see, this ticket is a ticket to a dangerous place with the heroes.”
I replied.
The adventurers in the central part seem to understand my words and started to look sad for a moment.
Well, does that mean I can meet the heroes of this world? That seems cool but at the same time dangerous.

Akane said and gives me a thumbs up.
“Why she decided to became her rival?”
I muttered and get off to the stage.
Since this ticket is one of the prices. I think this ticket is a really valuable item. I put my item in my item storage so that no one came to steal it from me.
The night came.
I go back to the Inn and rent a room for one night. I was so exhausted because of my battle in the event. I go downstairs to eat in the restaurant.
In this Inn, the downstairs part is a restaurant run by the owners. The place seems nice and the food looks great.
This crab is making my stomach growl. Also, what is this fried frog over here? I don’t like it but I’m in the recommendation.
I think as I look at the crispy-looking fried frog.
It looks like a chicken but it’s still a frog, I will never gonna eat something gross in my entire life.
I thought…
I order my meal and sit down at the table.
The waitress came and then serve me my food.
“Here is you’re fried frog meal and one bowl of salad.”
“Thank you.”
The waitress served me with a smile and leave.
What’s wrong with me? Why do I order this fried frog? I guess my inner self is thinking that I need to surpass my limits. I need to improve and that will start at this moment I start eating this fried frog.
I get the fried leg part and have a bite.
My eye’s started to glimmer and my taste buds were taken to another world.
Well, I’m literally in another world.
But this fried frog is really good, it’s beyond good honestly. It’s crispy nice and tender. When I dip it in a special sauce. The meat became tastier.
“So good.”
I said and continue to eat my fried frog.
People in the restaurant take a glance at me in a weird way.
“Why that girl is crying?”
They said.
After finishing my delightful meal. I go upstairs and go to my room. I take off my clothes and enter the bath.
Time to refresh my tired shoulders.
I thought as I gently press my own shoulder using my hand.
I then first scrub my body and wash it with soap. Then, I check if the water is at the right temperature and dip my body down in the bathtub.
“I feel like melting.”
Without me noticing my transformation faded turning my body back to its original form.
I enjoy my time in the bath and didn’t even notice the time.
Earlier, after the event, I immediately go to the train station and check if the train. Fortunately, the train to Grandellia City is already done with maintenance and ready to use tomorrow.
That means this is my final night in this small town.
This town is called a town of novice adventurers, but surprisingly enough this place has one of the strongest adventurers I ever met.
After enjoying my bath time.

I’m a mage adventurer? Why I have a sword with me? Maybe I should get new equipment that will boost my magical power and add MP.
My clothes made by Mello is really good it already has enhancement and can’t be tear apart easily.
I guess I’m going to the weapon shop tomorrow and get some new equipment.
I then close my eyes and sleep.
The next day.
I wake up early in the morning and visit a weapon shop. Entering the weapon shop. I already saw some giant armor and swords. I then turn in another direction and saw this bow and arrow.
The owner of the shop then came to talk to me.
“May I help you, dear customer… You’re that girl that wins the ticket. Are you here to buy some new equipment for you’re expedition?”
Looks like I became popular after the happening yesterday.
“I would like to have a weapon that will help me in casting my magic.”
“I see you’re a wizard class adventurer. We have a grimoire, staff, and magic wand.”
“I don’t like to carry big stuff like this staff. I guess I’m getting a magic wand. I want one with a simple design.”
I said.
The owner quickly gets me my magic wand and said:
“This is the most powerful wan in our shop. It’s simple in design but the stats it gave to the adventurer is outstanding.”

It’s not bad honestly, I can also carry this easily.
I decided to buy the magic wand.
After that, I go to the train station and ride the train to Grandellia city.
The train is not that crowded and I can enjoy the scenery while riding on it.
“We meet again my rival.”
I turned my glance to the girl sitting in front of me. I saw my self-proclaimed rival. With a proud expression on her face.
“I win in our fight yesterday, as a good rival, I guess we should become friends now.”
“Sorry, I don’t want some kind of troublesome relationship with other people. Can you pretend that we don’t know each other?”
I said.
“That’s painful to hear… After the lovely time, we spend with each other.”
Lovely? That fight is not lovely at all.
Still, even this girl is weird she is really strong.
“Where are you going?”
I asked.
“Just like you, I’m going to Grandellia city.”
“Why did you know I’m going to Grandellia?”
“Well, you did win that ticket yesterday. I thought that you’re planning to join the heroes in their expedition.”
“I’m still thinking about it.”
“Then why you’re going to Grandellia city?”
Akane said and get her lunch box, upon opening she get some rice balls and started eating them.
She offered me one and I gladly take it.
After taking a bite and chew it.
“I’m looking for a person that can teach me to became stronger.”
“A teacher?”
“Like that…”
I then take another bite of the rice ball.
I still don’t know if Retto was already in Grandellia city. His the knight of knights and is considered to be the strongest knight.
I like to see him again.
He's the first human I encounter in this world after all. The first human that stays with me in a dark cold dungeon. The first human that treats me kindly and also the first human that treats me badly in this world.
I then chuckle a laugh.
“What happened?”
“I just remember some funny things.”
I replied
Akane and I then enjoy the view of the forest and mountain while we're sitting on the train.
