Chapter 51: Maple vs Diane

Under the big tree in the forest, we’re currently having a small camp. The night comes and we’re still not having any idea how to save the people on this island.
“To think people treated like animals here is very absurd… As a summoned hero. I need to do something.”
“All of us want to save them. That’s for sure, but what aware going to do with that place full of demons? Even we’re all level 200. Fighting a crowd of demons in level 150 is impossible for us.”
Akane said and look toward her sword.
Maple is being silent for the moment and Sister Lily is feeling uncomfortable.
Making a sudden attack will draw the attention of the demons. The worse possible scenario is the demon using the human slave to their advantage. For example, they can use them as hostages.
Saving humans on this island is one of our top priorities.
Using mapping skills, I get to know how the geography of these Islands. There are seven islands here. We’re currently on one of the seven Islands. I believe this island is the farthest Island from the Island where the “King” is located.
“Earth magic: Map visual.”
I created a small replica of the map using earth magic. Dirt started to form Islands according to my knowledge.
“That’s cool, magic sure is cool.”
“I use my mapping skill to get this knowledge. I’m pretty sure that this map is accurate… We’re currently on this island.”
“Then where is the King location?”
“I don’t know really but I suspected him to be on the biggest Island. Looking to the map there was a big cathedral-like building located in the seventh Island.”
Island hopping is easy because we can just use the boat to travel through the sea. We can’t waste magic fighting this demon here. We need to conserve our magic to fight King. If King was defeated, people on this Island are also saved.
That’s it, with the five of us we can definitely defeat the king and free the people on this island.
In the sky, a bat monster appeared and then gaze toward us.
“Enemy! Enemy! Humans! Humans!”
Haru quickly drew his gun and shot the bat monster dead. Another wave of bat monster came to attack us. We all fight back against the bat monsters and leave the camp.
Seems like the campfire attracted the monster to us.
Using lightning magic I’m able to defeat many of them. Akane slashes the bat monster suing her sword.
“We already find out. All we need to do is fight.”
“Let’s go and ride the boat and move to the next island.”
We run back to our boat but it’s already too late because the boat is already destroyed. In front of the destroyed boat. A woman with a spear in her hand is waiting for our return.
“The intruders finally show there face... Be ready this will hurt a bit.”

A warrior specialized in using spear.
“Spear skill: Heavenly thrust!”
Diane charges toward the use and thrusts her spear. The blade of the spear the glow in bright color and blasted a beam.
We all mage to avoid the attack except for Maple who has the lowest Agility in the party.
“... Formidable defense!”
Even with the beam, Maple shield was not broken and the beam was then absorbed by Maple shield.
“... Shield Eater!”
“A shield user? Not only that you’re level is high for a kid like you.”
“... Mayu and everyone please leave this to me and leave.”
“Sacrificing yourself for the good of friends… Your quite a kind spirit… But the reality is cruel kid, power of friendship is not working in real life… Spear skill: Lightning spear!”
Diane’s spear turns into lightning and she started attacking Maple with it continuously. Maple continues with her defense.
From far away suddenly Akane and Haru were shot by a magic bullet. After that Akane and Haru’s bodies started to glow in white color.
“What is happening to our body?”
“We’re glowing…”
They then suddenly disappeared in white light.
Is that spatial magic? That means they are teleport away from us. It appears like the goal of our enemy is to separate all of us using those spatial bullets.
It’s weird because Sister Lily and I were not attacked by those magic bullets.
Beneath Sister Lily and I, a magic circle appeared. From the magic, circle hand grabbed our foot and then drag us down by force.
After being dragged to by a mysterious hand. I found myself in a dark place. There are torches in the pillars and skulls in the walls. The creepy atmosphere makes me feel a bit scared.
I detected a present that is about to approach me. It’s walking slowly toward me and it quite confident in its power.
“A cute little elf wonder to my space… It’s been a long time since I met one.”
A skull face creature appeared wearing a pitch-black robe and behind him is 10 different magic staff with magic stone on it.
“Who are you?”
I asked.
“I’m one of the Seven Swords of the southern Island… My name is Lich Lichfiend… After this battle, I will put you in my grand collection of the dead. This is perfect, my race collection doesn’t have an elf yet. With you, I’m able to complete my collection.”

Going back to Maple and Diane.
Even how much attack Diane attacks maple with her spear. Maple is still standing. Diane then steps back and makes a distance.
“Spear skill: Meteor spear!”
She threw her spear toward Maple and with a powerful impact a part of the shore and forest was destroyed. Diane’s spear goes back to her hands.
“That’s one of my most powerful skills. I bet that kid is roasted.”
Diane was very confident that her attack killed Maple. She then turns her back away and about to leave the shore.
The moment the smoke from the attack faded. Shadow of the giant shield user was seen.
“What the?! Don’t tell me you're still alive after directly receiving that powerful skill.”
“.… I’m still alive I’m the most powerful defense specialist in the kingdom.”
Maple said and seriously look toward Diane.
“This kid pissed me off… Now that I notice it your still not moving from you’re position since we started our battle.”
“... It’s because you’re attack is still too weak. Compare to the punch and kick of Sister Lily. Your attack is just a snowball.”
After Maple saying those words.
Diane got insanely angry and grabbed her spear and focus all her magic on it.
“To bad for you kid, you should not make an adult like me… Have a taste of my ultimate skill…”
“... There nothing I can’t block.”
“Ultimate spear skill: Abyssal Terror spear of Hell!”
Diane’s spear turn crimson red and black magic started to cover it. The wind started to blow in her direction and the clouds are getting darker and darker.
Diane put her back on it and then with a strong step in the ground she threw her spear to Maple.
“Die little kid!”
The whole forest was then covered by flames after the attack and the demon near the battlefield was in panic and running away. Humans on the first Island were abandoned by their demon masters and got freed.
“What was that power?”
“That’s not important, the demon is running away with their lives… We can be together now.”
The girl earlier and her lover reunite together.
Even after receiving the ultimate magic Maple was still standing.

A machine-like voice was heard and it makes Diane sweat in terror.
Maple’s eyes were gleaming in red color. And she turns her gaze to Diane.
“What are you? Are you really a human?”
“... I will bring it back with interest… Shield released!”
In front of Maple’s shield, a big magic circle appeared and from it, a darker and more sinister-looking attack is about to blast on Diane.
Diane used too much of her energy and can’t dodge it anymore.
“This is my end.”
The magic directly hit Diane and the seashore was craved. The powerful attack was then curved up in the sky and destroy the dark cloud revealing the stars and the moon.
Diane was defeated and fell to the ocean.
After the battle Maple fell and lay down in the sand with a satisfied expression.
“... I level up… I wonder what happened to the others. I believe in all of you.”
She said as she gazes at the stars and big bright moon.
