Chapter 52: Haru vs Kanon

After being teleport, Haru finds himself mountain area. He gets up and walked and finds a way to get out but the battlefield where he now seems to inside a night barrier. He tries to destroy it using his gun but it’s no use.
The only way to destroy the night barrier is to defeat the user of it.
“I can’t afford to be trapped here…”
From beside a bullet was shot to Haru. He blocks it with his gun. The impact was heavy. Resulting in Haru fell.
After the first bullet, another bullet was followed.
Haru gets up and puts his distance and hides behind the rocks.
“A sniper? This mountain area is full of big rocks and there are many hiding places. That sniper was already here before I came here, they really think of a plan to defeat us… Too bad, I won’t lose to anyone.”
Using his ability to create weapons and created his own sniper.
“Detection skill.”
Followed by his detection skill Haru was able to find the location of the sniper.
Confirming the location Haru jump out and use his sniper to blast the enemy. Nut the enemy already notices that he knows its location. Before the moment Haru fires his sniper. The enemy sniper already fires her bullet and destroys Haru’s sniper.
“What that?”
The enemy sniper reloaded and then followed with another wave of bullets.
Haru runs again and rolls toward the big rock.
“That was insane… This sniper is skilled.”
“Just come out already you will never gonna hit me in sniper battle. I’m the strongest sniper in southern Island. I’m one of the Seven Swords of the southern Island. Kanon the sniper.”
“Knowing that you’re a girl makes me wonder if you’re cute. Anyway, what the hell are Seven swords of the southern Island. Is that some kind of title given to scumbags like you?”
“Cute that’s only for the weak… Cuteness is not necessary on the battlefield… Calling us title holders scumbag. You really have the guts.”
While chatting Haru already made a drone with his skill. A drone that has guns attached to them. He then controlled them and fire guns above Kanon.
Kanon saw it coming and rolled to avoid the bullets. Kanon with her handgun then destroyed the drones.
Haru then finally saw Kanon’s appearance. Kanon is wearing a black hood and wearing a demon-looking mask.
“I’m disappointed… I’m looking forward to seeing your face.”
“There’s no need to see my face… Gun magic: Stinger shot!”
After locking onto a target with their Magic Sniper Rifle, the user shoots a bullet that surrounds the target and explodes.
“Gun magic: Stinger shot!”
Haru uses the same magic using his magic-made sniper.
Their bullets collided and make a powerful explosion.
“You can also use gun magic?”
“I’m the hero's marksman it’s expected for me to have this skill. I’m Haru Nakashima, one of the summoned heroes. The smiting hero…”
“A hero? The heroes are all in front lines, that’s impossible.”
“It’s not my fault if you don’t want to believe me. My only priority now is to defeat you and get the hell out of here.”
Kanon reloaded her sniper and then targeted Haru.
“Gun magic: Bazooka bullet!”
A rocket-like bullet comes out from Kanon’s sniper.
Haru’s sniper then transformed into the shotgun.
“Gun magic: Wide shots!”
Haru’s single bullet from his shotgun splits into several dozen Magical attacks in a wide area.
The bazooka bullet exploded and Kanon was then showered by the Haru’s gun bullets.
“Don’t worry those bullets are made of low-level magic. It doesn’t kill but truly hurts the enemy.”
“There no need to say that… I can use barrier magic.”
“Then I don’t need to hold back. Let me show you the power of the smiting hero… A hero that can create weapon while in the middle of the battle.”
His shotgun then transformed into a machine gun.
Snipers can only fire bullets powerful bullets and effective in long-range situations, but they can only fire bullets one by one. The machine gun can fire multiple bullets but not very effective in long-range.
But now that Kanon’s location was detected and she was near Haru. Haru’s goal is just to run toward her and shower her with his bullets.
“Gun magic: Stinger shot.”
Haru created a boomerang and then threw it in front of him and block the stinger shot. Avoiding the attack he jumps to the big rock and then uses his machine gun to shower Kanon his bullets.
“Deadly techniques… Gun magic: Bullet storm!”
Kanon stays on her feet by using her barrier magic. She created multiple barriers to shield herself from Haru’s shower of bullets.
“You’re quite persistent… Deadly technique level two… Drone Gun magic: Bullet storm .”
In the top of Haru, Drones was created and those drones with a gun attached to them showered Kanon more bullets.
Kanon keeps on making layers of the barrier. The bullets were so destructive it was able to destroy the rocks around them.
Kanon then reached her limit and her barrier was destroyed.
The bullets go through Kanon and Kanon was knockdown to the ground.
“You should be grateful… I didn’t kill you.”
“Why you did kill me?”
“That’s obvious… You area girl and a human girl.”
Kanon’s mask c***k and a pretty face were seen.
“Why are you helping the King of this Island? You’re a human you should help the people here.”
“I’m just a selfish girl… In exchange for my freedom, I work under him.”
“You should not say that demons are the enemies… You should help people more. Working under the demons doesn’t suit you… You know… I mean you have an angelic face.”
Haru saying those make Kanon flustered and blush. Kanon started to thinks Haru is hitting on her.
The nigh barrier was dispelled and Haru is about to leave and regroup with Mayu and the others.
“If I help people… C-Can I still see you again?”
Haru turns his glance to Kanon and replied.
“Well I’m traveling, but if you join the front lines maybe you might see me again… Then help the people on this island first. That will be your first step to atonement.
Kanon nodded and look toward Haru. In Kanon’s eye’s Haru was glimmering. Like a light in the darkness. Her heart started to race.
“I think I like you…”
Kanon whispered. Those words didn’t reach Haru who already left the mountain area.
