CHAPTER FIVE

Liz's Pov

I'm sitting on the bed towel drying my hair when Caroline walks in with a blanket wrapped around her. "I'm getting in the shower. Go ahead and pick something to watch, I won't be long." She says as she tosses me the remote, walking to the bathroom.

As I'm sitting here getting excited about tomorrow and what's going to take place Lex speaks up "He isn't ours". "But he will be, come tomorrow" I tell her. "I wouldn't bet on it. Do you really think Caroline will even support this? Besides I honestly don't see what you see in him. He is self centered and a complete douche' bag and he isnt even our mate. I really believe we should wait on our mate." "Look. He understands me okay, besides after he marks us, the bond will forge and you will love him as much as i already do." I tell her getting annoyed when she makes barfing noises in my head. I shake my head at my stupid wolf when I suddenly get hit with the urge to go poop. Ugh! Caroline is still in the bathroom.

Oh, well. I get up to go knock on her bathroom door when I pop my head in and tell her "I'm coming in, I gotta pee!" As I walk to the toilet to take care of business. I hear the water cut off and Caroline speaks up "Can you hand me a towel after you wash your hands?" I snicker to myself and tell her "Your gonna have to grab your own towel, I lied. I gotta poop! So I'll be here for a few minutes". I tell her. I hear her huff when she tells me to close my eyes so I do when I speak up again "You know you shouldn't hide your body right? You got a nice plump ass back there, with a nice rack! I check it out all the time! I wish I had at least a decent ass, my t**s are fine but my ass is no where as juicy as yours." "Your such a perv" Lex chimes in. "Well if you got it flaunt it" I counter back.

"You know I'm just not comfortable with showing my lady bits. I know and understand we're supposed to be comfortable in both our skins but I'm just not that way" She says. I roll my eyes at her as she walks out the bathroom and I finish my business and go to wash my hands when she walks back in and grabs her hair brush. She looks at me through the mirror when she speaks up. "Hey Liz, why were you staring at Lewey with a lust look at training?"

Oh s**t. s**t, s**t, s**t. I feel my Cheeks get warm and I hurriedly dried my hands and walk back to the bed to flip something else on when she walks back out.

"So are we going to go shopping? You know, so we can get something new to wear at the Ceremony?" I ask her. Trying to deflect her question. Praying she let's it go and I feel her gaze on me and I refuse to look at her. "Myia is asking questions" Lex quips up. When I feel the bed dip beside me. She grabs my other hand and pulls it into her lap. I still feel her gaze on me so I look at her and see tenderness in her eyes and she spoke. "Liz your my absolute best friend, and I love you with every fiber of my being. Please tell me." s**t, s**t, s**t. "Busted" "Shut up Lex"! I feel her walk towards the back of our mind and lay down with a smug smile. I look to Caroline waiting silently for my reply. But how do I tell her. I sigh in frustration. "I wanted to wait until after the Ceremony and Craig annoints the Beta position to Lewey. But, he asked me to be his chosen mate." I see confusion written all over a face when I raised my hand to hold off on her questioning when i continued "Please, don't be mad but I have been secretly meeting up with Lewey for a few weeks. We just talk and sometimes we kiss. But this morning he told me he had feelings for me and he wants to take me as his chosen mate, he wants to actually choose me as his. I told him I accept and well, things got pretty heated before training." I word vomit everything out. Hoping she just supports my decision when she snatched her hand back from mine. I look at her trying to decipher her face. She is usually really easy to read. But, not this time. All of a sudden her eyes turn pitch black. Letting me know that Myia has came forward. "Now your in for it" Lex comments.
