CHAPTER FOUR

Carolines POV

We're nearly to the house when she begins to slow thinking I don't notice. I speed past her and whip around bowing in play, Myia wagging her tail. My mother shifts as she walks up to Myia, scratching her behind her ear. Myia stands shaking herself and shifts control back to me. My mother and I just laugh playfully with one another when my father walks out with two blankets. He wraps my mother up quickly and tosses me the second, his head is turned so he is unable to see me as I wrap myself in it. "Oh Richard, your so modest. We're wolves darling, being naked is part of who we are dear." My mother tells my dad I just laugh because she has always been proud of herself after she shifts in human form. My dad on the other hand has always been more conservative and always carries shorts with him after he shifts from wolf to human. "Now Freya, just because you like to strut around in your birthday suit doesn't mean I want everyone to be looking at what's mine."

We all walk back into the house. My parents to their room so my mother can put some clothes on. I go to my room where Liz is waiting for me on my bed, towel drying her hair.

"I'm getting in the shower. Go ahead and pick something to watch, I won't be long." I smile at her and toss her the remote as I walk into the bathroom. I start my shower and step in. I start to wet my hair, all the while my mother's words keep replaying in my head. I wash out my hair and begin to wash myself when there's a knock at the door.I'm coming in I gotta pee" Liz says walking in the bathroom as I roll my eyes. I go to turn my water off and open my shower door. "Heyy, hand me a towel after you wash your hands please ". "Your gonna have to grab your own towel, I lied. I gotta poop. So I'll be here for a few minutes." She says. Oh for the love of Goddess. This girl. "Ugh! Fine! Close your eyes and turn your head." I tell her as I peep around the shower door to make sure she has her eyes covered and grab a towel when she speaks up "You know you shouldn't hide your body right? You got a nice plump ass back there, with a decent rack. I check it out all the time! I just wish i had a decent ass. My t**s are fine, but my ass aint as plump and juicy as yours." I feel my Cheeks burn.

"You know, I'm just not comfortable with showing my lady bits and I know we're wolves and we should be comfortable in both our skins but I'm just not". I guess I take after my dad in that department. As I wrap my towel around my body I go into my bedroom to grab some panties and a T-Shirt as I proceeded to dry off.

After I got dressed, I went back into the bathroom to brush my hair when I remembered something about this morning so i asked "Hey Liz, why were you staring at Lewey with a lust look at training? ". I look through the mirror to study her and she looks away with tinted Cheeks and doesn't say anything. I'm immediately puzzled when she gets up from the toilet to wash her hands and doesn't say anything and just walks back into my bedroom and plops back down on the bed. Mhm. "She's hiding something." Myia chips in after I finish brushing my hair and turn off the light to go back into my room and see Liz flipping through channels. I go to ask again when she speaks. "So, are we going to go dress shopping for the Ceremony tomorrow?" I look at her getting a little irritated that she thinks she can avoid answering me.

"Lex is being tight lipped too." Myia tells me. That infuriates me that she feels the need to hide. But, I know she won't tell me if she sees that I'm getting angry with her. So I take a deep calming breath and go to sit on my bed and I grab her hand and pull it into my lap and wait for her to look at me. When she finally does look at me "Liz, your my absolute best friend and I love you with every fiber of my being. Please tell me" I say to her when my stomach goes in knots waiting for her reply.
