CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

Lewey's POV

"So, how do you propose you help me take over this pack?" I ask devilishly.

When his grin gets bigger and he says "Do you know Why my pack has been around for centuries?" I sit back and think about this when I come up blank. "Do you know Jonas?" I ask my wolf when I hear the dungeon door open. With two sets of footsteps coming down and Kyle appears with a warrior carrying what looks to be two sets of trays. "We brought yall some breakfast." Kyle says as he lifts the lid and I see a cup of water with a slice of bread. "You have got to be joking" Jonas growls in my head when Kyle stops in front of my cell door. "Awe, don't yall look quite cozy ..dammit I knew yall would hit it off." Kyle says as he puts my tray down about a foot from my door when he looks to the warrior and says "James go get a candle so these two lovebirds can have a candlelit dinner together, since they seem to be cozying up to each other." he laughs when James walks back up the steps to do as he was told. "Lets kill him when he opens the cell door." Jonas adds in as soon as Kyle finds the right key and puts it in the keyhole and opens my door to put my tray down. "Get against the wall" he yells at me and I step back slowly until i hit the wall. When he smirks at me and turns his back to me to walk out the door I jump him from behind with my clawed hand bypassing his spine and I reach for his heart and felt it beating in my hand and rip his heart out in one clean motion. His body falls liflessly to the floor, and I drop his heart where he lays. "Man that felt good" I say as I look up to see the warrior James frozen on the spot about a foot away from Romero's cell door, when Romero reaches his arm out and snaps the boy's neck. "Well that was easy" I tell Jonas as I started to walk up the steps leading out the dungeons when Romero speaks up. "Get me out of here Lewey. I can help you." he says almost pleadingly. "He can help us kill Craig and take our rightful place as Alpha. We can use him and then kill him" Jonas says convincing me. So I walk over to Kyle's dead body and pluck the keys out his cold dead hands. When I get to Romero's door he gives me a curt nod in appreciation. I stick the key in the keyhole and open his door. "Come on, we ain't got long. There's no doubt Craig didn't feel that. I know a short cut across our border".

Romero's POV

The sly grin I have on my face as I am about to tell Lewey about my centuries old pack when we hear the doors to the dungeon open and footsteps coming down the concrete stairs.

"Brought y'all some breakfast. " One of the guards says lifting a lid revealing bread and water. "Awe, don't y'all look quite cozy... damnit I knew y'all would hit it off." The guard that showed the food says rather annoyingly. "Does he actually think he's funny?" Hatï says disgusted. I nicker to myself as I watch as the guard put the tray down about a foot from the Lewey's cell. The second guard does the same in front of my cell. "Well, isn't he conveniently close?" Hatï Snickers while licking his chops. I snicker as I bide my time and wait for an opening.

"James. Go get a candle so these two lovebirds can have a candle lit dinner together since they seem to be cozying up to each other." The guard in front of Lewey's cell directs. "It's mildly entertaining watching James do as he is told, pity we have to kill him." Hatï laughs. "Get against the wall!" The guard in charge orders Lewey. I see Lewey just smirk and step back as he is told as the guard unlocks his cell.

I see Lewey suddenly rush the guard as soon as his back was turned and literally rip his heart out. A slightly surprised and shocked smirk of approval appears on my face.

"Well, that was unexpected." Hatï shakes his head in surprise and I just chuckle at him then notice my opening. James is less than a foot from my cell standing in utter shock. With blinding speed, I dart my arm through the silver bars. The silver burns but I ignore it as I snap James neck quickly, then I see the little rat start walking up the stairs. Hatï begins growling with rage.

"Get me out of here Lewey, I can help you." I play desperate. "This little s**t seriously has no idea who the f**k he's dealing with!" Hatï snarls and snaps his jaws in rage. "No. No he doesn't. Not yet... Don't worry, Hatï. You can have him, but you can't kill him.We can still use his stupidity to our advantage." I tell my wolf to calm him. "You take all the fun for yourself." Hatï snuff's and shakes his head irritatingly at me. "Fine." He concedes as he rolls his eyes. I just chuckle with a grin on my face.

I see Lewey come back down the stairs and grab the keys from the dead guard in his cell and unlocks mine. "Come on, we ain't got long. There's no doubt that Craig didn't feel that. I know a short cut across the border." Lewey tells me as he turns to walk out of the cell. The moment he turns, Hatï takes partial control and slams him into the stone wall clear across from the cells. Our elbow pressed firmly against the base of the back of his neck, his left arm twisted and pulled up behind his back. Giving Hatï control, I sit in the back of our mind to watch the show, smirking and laughing at this little turd.

"What the hell Ramaro!? I let you out! We have to go! Let me go you arrogant prick!!" Lewey says huffing his breath as he struggles to get away. Hatï applies more pressure and leans in closer to whisper in his ear as he screams in pain. "I am Hatï. It's a pleasure to meet you, you little rat. Now let's get one thing straight and very, VERY, clear. If you would rather learn the hard way why my pack has been around for centuries, please feel free to continue your futile attempts to backstab us..." Hatï twists his arm more, earning another scream and more struggling. "Because if you continue to believe you and your wolf can out smart us, there will be nothing left of your body for anyone to find and your wolf won't even make it back to the Moon Goddesses realm to be repaired with a smarter human... Hello, Jonas. It's been a long time." With that, Hatï snaps Lewey's arm in a very awkward angle. Lewey let's out a blood curdling scream as Hatï gives him one last shove against the wall and stands up giving me back full control.
