The glorious end

The principal's and the history teacher's trip to Ekpeose was nothing to write home about. They arrived the village and saw a billboard saying:

'Welcome to Ekpeose.' But, they couldn't find the road to the girl's house. The great seer was a young girl, it was a gift from God. The vice principal and the teacher were surprised that, the couldn't find their way to the girl's house.

They saw a girl and asked he for directions. The girl stood still, closer her eyes and blood was dropping from her eyes.

They were very afraid and they had to ask the driver to move away. The other people that asked did scary things. One of them had brought out Hus eyeballs and placed it on his hands, the other had pulled one of his legs, raising it up.

They knew that the devil was as work. They decided to go back home because they had seen a lot.

When Lucy passed with the Igbo teacher to see Chioma, Cynthia knew that something was amiss. She rushed to see what was happening.

When Lucy was going near Chioma, Chioma was moving herself back and shouting:

'Don't touch me.' Cynthia also came and was pushing Cynthia away. While all these was happening, Mrs Lilian stood there, staring at the three.

Lucy touched Chioma on her leg gently. 'Why are you running from me, dear. I'm your new teacher and u decided to come see you. Hope you're faring well? Lucy asked Chioma. Chioma couldn't talk because she noticed everything changed, immediately that 'devil' touched her.

'Cynthia, please give me that bottle of olive oil and blood of Jesus.' Cynthia passed it over to Chioma.

'Let's pray.' Cynthia suggetsed.

'I never intended to stay this long, because I was recording some things. Perhaps, another time, we will pray.' Lucy said and then she faced Chioma. 'Recover soon, my darling.'

The biology teacher prayed with fhem, before she left.

Few minutes after they left, Chioma began shouting of pains. It was serious and they had to transfer her to another hospital.

Lucy and her cohorts were so excited, when they saw Chioma being carried away. They were still discussing, when Mrs Lilian walked up to them.

'Why are you all gathered here? She asked.

'I'm actually teaching them some topics.' Lucy replied.

'This is not only one class, junior students are also here.'Lilian responded.

'They have questions in business studies.' Lucy replied

'Let me reserve my comments.' Lilian said and left.

'I think she's the next after Chioma.' Lucy said after she has gone faraway.

They discussed various things.

Then, someone remembered Cynthia. She asked how they are going to do her?

'Let's leave her. Once Chioma dies, she will surrender and accept her faith. Chioma is the main target.' Kosi convinced them and they all agreed to do so.

But they was someone whom everything amazed. It was Mrs Lilian. She knew that Chioma and Cynthia was aware of what was going on. Why did Chioma asked Lucy not to touch her and Lucy touched her forcefully? Why did Lucy move out when they wanted to pray? Why would Lucy always associate with those girls? This and many more she asked herself.

'Once chioma is back, I'll convince her to tell me everything.' She thought.

Cynthia was a very good sister to Chioma. She was always crying and praying to God, for Chioma.

'Sir, the prophet I told you about is in town and may be coming in thursday.' The vice principal said.

'Wow! I can wait. May this be our last bus stop.'

'Amen.

'Chioma will also be back in thursday.' The principal said.

Bose told the girls what the principals discussed.

'So, this people are not tired of bringing in pastors and prophets? Daniella asked clapping her hands.

'My instincts is telling me that , this will be the final bus stop.' Ruka said fearfully.

'Shut up, broiler. Why are you always afraid? Helen asked.

'Nothing will happen! Lucy and Daniella said simultaneously

The prophet known as 'Prophet Isaiah. Prophet Isaiah came with his prayer warriors. They started with praises and the Ogbanje girls stood to watch the pastor. Then, he dived into prayers. He prayed like one who wants the great Iroko tree to fall.

After some minutes, he started rolling on the floor. The students and teachers were surprised.

Then, there was a great lighting and they heard a voice saying:

'What do you think you've come to do? It was a feminine voice from the sky.

'I've come to deliver this school.' Prophet Isaiah replied.

'You drug addict! You that have slept with almost all the members. You call yourself a pastor when you belong to a secret cult. How do you expect God to answer your prayers? The voice asked.

The people that accompanied the pastors were so ashamed and they covered their faces with their hands.

'I'm sorry, my queen.' Prophet Isaiah said to the amazement of everyone.

'Do you know I can kill you? The voice asked.

'Aah!' He exclaimed.'Please spare me, my queen.' He pleaded.

'Spare you? Okay, I'll spare you on one condition.' The voice said.

'What condition, my queen?'

The Ogbanje girls smiled among themselves.

'Go and never come ba..

The voice couldn't complete the statement when another voice interrupted.

'He is going no where.' The voce had said.

Everyone looked up. Lo and behold, it was Chioma accompanied by Cynthia.

'Chioma! Some students shouted and ran to hug her.

'How come she isn't dead.' The Ogbanje girls asked among themselves. Most of them were afraid because they knew that, that was their last day in that school.

'And how dare you? Daniella aksed stepping out. Her eyes burned with fire.

'You can't do anything.' Cynthia said and raised a prayer. They prayed for some minutes and then, stopped.

'Mba. Continue praying, fools. Do you think your prayer will save you? Lucy asked.

'Ngwa, take it.' Daniella stretched forth her hand, fire appeared and she sent it to Chioma. Chioma backfired it with a litany of 'back to sender'.They continued praying together with the prayer warriors. This time around, the Ogbanje girls had formed a circle and, Daniella was standing in the center together with Lucy.

Everyone was calling on their God.Chioma and Cynthia was calling on the almighty God while, the Ogbanje girls were calling on their own god.

Then, Adaugo the queen mother appeared. She was carrying a local pot burning with fire. 'Chioma, I command you to die now! She commanded .

'It can't be possible , for the name of the Lord is a strong tower. I runs into it and I'm saved. He said I should call unto him in the days if trouble and he will answer me. Ohh God of Shedrack, Meshack and Abednego. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Come and show yourself. Come and prove the doubters wrong, show them that you're God and not a man.' Chioma said while Adaugo was saying some incantations.

Then suddenly, they heard loud scream. Adaugo, Lucy and Adaeze had disappeared. The student were shocked. Other ogbanje girls lay on tge floor lifeless.

They sang praises of Victory. They thanked God. It was Chioma's and Cynthia's dream come true. The principal's and teachers joy knew no bound. They were so excited and praised Go for what he has done through Chioma and Cynthia.

The Ogbanje girls woke up from the floor crying. The principal wanted to suspend them but, Chioma told him that they were under the influence of some spells.

The students never wanted to associated with them but Chioma urged them to.

Prophet Isaiah left the secret cult and repented.

No one attends the excellent girls college, without knowing the story of the two great legends 'Chioma and Cynthia.'
