ANN I opened my eyes and immediately closed them back as the light hit me, causing pain to shoot through them to my whole head. I gasped a little at how much pain I was feeling. It felt like my brain was pulsing. I allowed myself to calm down, before I tried opening them again, this time, really slowly. It took me a while, but I was able to squint and adjust to the really bright light that bounced on the white walls of the hospital room. I knew I was in the hospital to room because of the stupid monitor that continued to beep in the quiet room. I frowned and looked around me, trying to remember why I was in the hospital. Somewhere inside my head, I felt I already knew why I was lying on the hospital bed, but my brain was just not working. My ears itched and I tried to raise up my hand
