COLTON I sat down with Trent in his office, which was quite far from mine, in silence. Caleb was sitting beside me too, not saying anything as we tried to make sense of what Trent had just told us. The fact was, I was finding everything just so hard to believe. Caleb was a faster thinker than I am because he was the first to speak up. “You mean to tell me that you had Dean? Like you were this close to catching him?” He said and gestured by bringing his fingers an inch close. I had a hunch that I knew what was coming next, because when my best friend started asking questions and gesturing with precision, just like he was doing with his hands right now, then trouble was brewing.
