Mathias’ arrival was not surprising after Alpha Gorgo informed us that she accused him of abandoning his pack. The question lingering in the air was his intention with his pack. Augusta was nervous and prepared to defend our hard work. Holding my hand, I could hear her heart rate increase as Mathias began to speak towards the window overlooking the training grounds.
“My family has been leading this pack for five generations.
