Finishing our morning training, Magnus caught me staring at him while I deflected a punch. Wishing I could pretend he didn’t capture my heart with a simple smile, I concluded that I was getting impatient having to wait to complete the mating process. My final Citadel presentation was scheduled for tomorrow, but I was more excited about our magical night.
“My love, what is on your mind, you look a little distracted,” mind-linked Magnus. My wolf, Amelia, purred like a pathetic feline.
With a smirk, I turned my attention on the four remaining warriors sparring against me and finished the session with three kicks and four punches. Feeling my love’s eyes staring at my back, I replied, “You, always you.”
