Looking out over the pack of members, my wolf Zander and I agreed there were few we recognized. After being forced to accept Madison’s rejection, I returned home only to ignore my pack, I hated that I had lost her and secluded myself in my office. Snarls and bored stares reinforced that I made the right decision to leave this pack.
Finalizing the ceremony, Jackson received my Alpha power and introduced his mate Augusta as the pack’s Luna to a loud roar. It broke my heart knowing my family’s dynasty ended with my irrational choices. I will forever be known as the Alpha that saved a pack by giving it away. Zander whined but never kept his comments to himself, knowing he rarely agreed with my selfish choices.
