We came by the doctor's office after talking with my parents. Mom had gotten really excited after she realized I wasn't quitting school for the babies. Of course she was still worried, but she was also excited.
The doctor handed me a large bottle of purple pills and had me take it in front of her. She warned me that I couldn't miss taking these or the babies could really start hurting me. I placed my hand over my lower abdomen again. I like picturing the sonogram when I touched my belly now.
"Come back in a month and we'll do another ultrasound to check on how the babies are developing. Listen, Ms. Lancaster, if you start feeling even the slightest bit weak, it's very important that you rush here. We need to make sure to keep you healthy." She cautioned me.
"I'll make sure she does."
