I left the room, hating myself for not being able to keep my promise to stay by her side. Stoic, because I refuse to call him my dad anymore, threatened to have Rain go to battle with him if I didn't come. I had no choice, but to leave her. Nerves ate away at me as I realized I would be facing those creatures again. I'm not so arrogant as to think that I could actually fight that many and be okay.
