Rain's P.O.V.
I stood in my room, dazed and confused. I almost chased after Nate when he left. Heli was the one that kept us contained in the room. Her sense of self coming to her before my own. What the hell was that?
'Dragon pheromones.' Heli responded.
'You mean Nate did that?' I find it hard to believe. He wouldn't have done that on purpose at least. Right?
'Yes, but I don't think he did it on purpose. Rain, he's the one that stopped us and left. Normally a dragon won't leave until they think you're pregnant with their child. Nate showed great restraint just now.' Heli reminded me of the events that just played out.
