For some reason my heart was fluttering against my chest, like the wings of a hummingbird. I made my way to Nate's room, his sweet smile coming to mind. I can't lose him as a friend. We need to talk about this. I need to make sure it wasn't anything more than his dragon. It can't be anything more than that. My mind was running a mile a minute, so distracted that I didn't even bother to knock as I got to his door. I just pushed it open without a second thought. I found Nate standing beside his bathroom door. He was shirtless, water glistening across his torso, making his toned abdominal muscles shine. He had a towel wrapped low around his waist, showing me that deep v line that leads to his groin. He had another smaller towel around his shoulders, using it to dry his tousled shaggy blonde
