"He what?" My head felt like it was about to explode from what my father just told me. I knew Evandrus always seemed like a snake, but I had no idea how evil he really is.
"Rain, you can't tell anyone. It'll put them in danger too." My dad warned me, and it angered me that I had to keep this a secret. Everyone should be warned about him. He could see the anger boiling up inside of me so he added. "He's a slippery snake, Rain. He has safeguards for his safeguards and he's had all this time to make sure he won't be caught. It's almost impossible to prove what I've told you, especially after all this time."
