*Flashback*
'Finally, excited for today. Have fun everyone. x' I tweeted. Yes, that should do it.
Anytime now they'll be here - and I'm going to where Luke told me to wait. I parked the car in front of a three storey honey-coloured house. Everything's perfect; the sky was blue as the sea. It isn't too sunny nor there is any sign of rain.
I got out of the car and ran to the door. Being a giant that they are, they always keep a spare key at the vase on the left window. And hopefully, despite of my height, I can reach it. With the help of the bars that served as my platform, I reached for it.
"Almost there," I muttered, as my fingers touched the vase. And before I even knew it, the vase fell and broke into pieces, leaving the soil and flowers scattered below.
I immediately ran down and picked up the key. Without thinking twice, I picked up the broken pieces of the vase.
"Ouch," I said, as a sharp point pricked my finger. It started bleeding. My phone vibrated; hence, I had to wrapped my finger with a handkerchief fast and answer the call. "Hello. Where are you now?"
"Hello," Calum's voice sounded disrupt. "Miel, I'm so sorry. If it wasn't for me, it wouldn't happen. He wouldn't do it. I'm so so--"
"Calum," I said. I know something is wrong. "What are you talking about? Where's Luke? Where is he? What the hell happened?"
"It," he continued, I can hear him sobbing now. "It happened so fast. We were almost there but it started shaking. Luke and I were goofing around. He tried to save me."
"Where is he, Calum?" I repeated as tears started to roll down my cheeks. He doesn't have to say what happened, I can already picture it.
But I still wanna hear it.
"He's gone, Miel," he said. "Luke is gone."
