The sky darkened.
Heavy clouds gathered above the battlefield as if the heavens themselves feared what was about to happen.
Aria stared at the towering creature before them.
Cracks spread across Dravoryx’s enormous body.
Dark light leaked from between his scales like molten shadow.
Kael growled low in his throat.
“Something is wrong.”
Darius watched carefully, his calm expression finally fading.
“No… something is changing.”
The Devourer slowly lifted his massive head.
His glowing red eyes burned brighter than ever before.
“You wounded me,” Dravoryx growled.
The air trembled with his voice.
“That was your greatest mistake.”
Suddenly—
His body exploded with dark energy.
BOOOOOOM!
A violent shockwave tore across the battlefield.
Warriors were thrown backward as the ground cracked beneath their feet.
Aria barely managed to stay standing.
“What is happening to him?!”
Dravoryx’s wings expanded even wider.
The bones inside them shifted and grew larger.
His claws stretched into even sharper blades.
Black flames burst from the cracks in his scales.
And then his body grew.
Even bigger.
Even more terrifying.
Commander Roran stared in horror.
“That thing was holding back…”
The Devourer laughed, a monstrous sound that echoed across the valley.
“This is my true form.”
Aria felt fear creeping into her chest.
The creature now looked like a living nightmare.
His body radiated pure destruction.
Kael stepped forward protectively.
“We don’t run.”
Darius raised one eyebrow.
“Bold.”
Dravoryx suddenly vanished.
Aria blinked.
“He’s—”
CRASH!
The monster reappeared above them.
His massive claw slammed down with devastating force.
Kael barely leaped out of the way.
The ground shattered like glass.
Several Lycan warriors were thrown into the air from the impact.
Darius fired a blast of dark magic.
But Dravoryx swatted it aside like it was nothing.
The Devourer moved again.
This time his tail struck Kael directly.
BOOM!
Kael’s wolf form crashed into a broken stone wall across the battlefield.
“Kael!” Aria screamed.
The monster turned toward her slowly.
“And now…”
His red eyes burned.
“The Moon’s Chosen.”
Aria’s heart pounded.
She raised her glowing hands, but she knew she couldn’t stop him alone.
Dravoryx opened his jaws.
Dark fire gathered inside his mouth.
“This world will fall into darkness.”
But just before he fired—
A powerful blast struck his face.
BOOM!
Dravoryx staggered backward.
Darius stood several meters away, his hands glowing with dark energy.
“Not yet,” he said calmly.
The Devourer turned toward him with pure rage.
“You dare interrupt me again?”
Darius smiled faintly.
“You’re not the only monster here.”
Behind them, Kael slowly rose from the rubble.
His breathing was heavy, but his golden eyes burned with determination.
Aria rushed toward him.
“You’re hurt!”
Kael shook his head.
“I’m still standing.”
But even he could feel the truth.
Dravoryx’s new form was far more powerful than before.
If they didn’t find a way to stop him soon…
The Lycan kingdom would fall.
And this war would end in complete destruction.
