Chapter 6 Zoe sat on the tailgate of the SUV, rummaging through the books in the crate. They were all glossy-covered paperbacks, featuring gorgeous men who in many cases had apparently mislaid their clothes. The author’s name was Lorna Derrivan. Definitely not Friern. She read the back covers of a few of them, trying to pick one out to read. She’d started to regret asking. What if she didn’t like it? That would be awkward. A publisher had bought them and published them, so they must be good, she assumed. But that didn’t mean Zoe would like them for sure.
